It all began on February 17, 1993, when Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana. Kent's goal was to own not just a family restaurant and not just a steak restaurant, but a place where everyone, of all ages, could come and have a great meal and great fun for a great price.

We like to brag about our Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Made-From-Scratch Sides, and Fresh-Baked Bread. Everything we do goes into making our hearty meals stand out. We handcraft almost everything we serve. We provide larger portions so you get more food for your dollar. And if you want an Ice Cold Beer or Legendary Margarita to wash it all down — well, we have those, too.

At Texas Roadhouse our team has an incredible sense of pride in everything we do. Our passion ensures you have a Legendary Experience every time. Great food, great service! Front-of-House immediately led us to our table after hearing seeing my name on the reservation list! He was very courteous all throughout! The salad was good and our steaks were just right. I will definitely order another NY Strip on my next visit! Servers were numerous and very attentive. My wife and I will definitely go back with the rest of the family!

My reservation experience was seamless. When I arrived I was welcomed even if we came in earlier than our scheduled reservation. The service and food was superb!

I’d like to highlight Kyla’s exceptional attentiveness to our requests and her professionalism in every interaction. She went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect, checking in just the right amount and making us feel genuinely valued as guests. The food was great, and the service was excellent, I will definitely come back again. Manager was more than gracious with her team.
