The 1867 is the renowned licensed eatery, for a treat, located at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village on the A5, just north of Weedon, in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside in the centre of England with lots of lovely boutique shops too!

We have many guests who conveniently meet here at the 1867 with friends, family and business associates from all over the country and indeed abroad.

Well behave dogs are very welcome with water and treats on arrival.

We are open from 9.30am for breakfast, every day, including bank holidays ( with exception to Christmas Day and Boxing Day ).

Our popular Afternoon Tea offering is available from 2pm until 5pm – please pre-book with any specific dietary requirements.

Our crew genuinely want you to leave our eatery ‘feeling better than you came in’ and we will do our upmost to make this happen.

Last orders at 3.30pm for food.

We had a lovely birthday lunch today. The service was excellent, with staff making our visit enjoyable. Little touches to our table were greatly appreciated and we will visit again soon.

Had a lovely lunch with a friend. It was her birthday and there was a balloon on the table. She also received a Prosecco and a voucher, made the day really special for her.

The welcome upon entering the cafe was frosty to say the least, asking for the front door to be closed as we were cold was met with disdain and difficulties however we were eventually moved when we would not accept the offer of blankets (we were sitting inside), waiting staff were the complete opposite and very welcoming however the whole experience was ruined by the hosts mannerisms, especially disappointing as this was to cheer everyone up after a difficult period, blanked upon paying I’m assuming as she didn’t like the fact we would accept to be cold! Won’t be visiting again, however note that people who were recognised by the host were treated completely differently…….

A lovely welcoming atmosphere and the staff are so nice and accommodating. A good extensive menu and options but still all good quality. The afternoon tea was displayed in a tasteful way , easy to share. My gift card came in the post beautifully presented. A great gift for someone or a nice afternoon treat.

Delicious smashed avocado on sourdough bread and a just as I like it ‘hot hot chocolate. Staff very pleasant I’ wear hearing aids and this morning the noise level was quite high, mainly coming from a table of 4 ladies, but like everyone else they were there to enjoy meeting up and good food.
