   We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner at the newly opened Abner Hotel's Courtyard restaurant. Very friendly, attentive, well-trained wait staff who gave us excellent service without being intrusive. Excellent menu and delicious food. Unique, historic, characterful atmosphere renovated to a high standard with cool art and design elements

   We had a pre-Thanksgiving family reunion dinner for 5 that turned into 6 (which they graciously accommodated at the last minute) that could not have been better. Service off the chart good. Food creative and excellently presented and prepared. We will certainly be back, very lively bar area and acoustic musicians. Bravo to the hard working team bring this old space to life as new. Only complaint is signage could be clearer!

   Wonderful experience at the courtroom restaurant, we were 4 guests Saturday night We enjoyed the food very testy, professional staff great atmosphere with a lady singing with a beautiful voice. We had a fantastic time , highly recommended This place , we will be back .

   Overall it was a wonderful experience dining in the Courtroom. Everyone was providing excellent service and trying to ensure we were attended to. The Cottage Pie was perfect! We plan on returning and we look forward to another wonderful experience. Thank you.

   The decor and vibe of the restaurant is above average. The service was about average for comparable restaurants in the area with a few minor flubs such as not clearing dirty utensils in between courses, bringing us a drink we didn’t order (and charging us for it), and forgetting my coffee. The food, overall, was disappointing. The Abner salad had little flavor. The mushroom croquettes tasted ok but the presentation was bland. Three fried balls sitting on a pool of aioli in the middle of the plate. My halibut was slightly overcooked and was completely overwhelmed by the onions used in the broth. They used a mixture of onions and carrots in the broth, like a mirepoix. The onion tasted like it had been chopped hours earlier and allowed to sit around. The cottage pie was simple but good. The basque cheesecake was the best part of dinner but the whipped cream was a bit grainy. The menu described the cheesecake as having raspberries. There was a thimble of raspberry juice and 1/2 of a raspberry on the plate.
