   Came for a dinner pre-show and the convenience was the only positive aspect. They were clearly understaffed and after our order was taken, we were barely checked on. The Parker house rolls were tasty, but the burrata was somehow dry and came with a burnt crostini. The salmon was overcooked with an uneven horseradish crust.

   Aaron the host held down the house. Table touches all around. Knows he way around the restaurant. Duck dish was good and pickles were tasty. Only issue was the schnitzel was extra salty and sausage was 86ed. Hold back on the seasoning and the dish will be good. Bar was slammed and took a long time to get drinks to my guests. All in all this is a great place to come to for a pre show dining experience.

   The headline is that food was amazing and the wait staff excellent, but..... My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the food, wait staff and ambience. We ate almost every bite of the properly portioned apps and main course. The wait staff provided advice and was attentive. However, The Alderman, please please note that while we were literally the first people seated at dinner, we were placed at the kitchen door entrance. This is a no no and a trigger for people of color like us, who all too often end in that spot. To make matters worse we asked about sitting at another spot two stations away, and were told it is for an expected party of three. But 3 minutes later, a party of two was seated there. I felt misled.

   We enjoyed our dinner! We came right as they were opening so the restaurant was quite subdued, but it still was very good. We actually enjoyed the quieter moments. The food and service were good - not exceptional, but still very good and a good value for dinner in NYC! It's in a hotel so the bar scene was quite lively with hotel guests for happy hour. They were also very cognizant of theater-goers (which didn't apply to us). It was a solid experience overall and especially for theater or hotel guests, I would reccommend it!

   Live in Manhattan and rarely eat in this area , But chose this because it was next door to theatre. Amazingly surprised. Food was quite good, service impeccable . Will absolutely come back again, even if not attending theatre My only problem is That I left 3 messages trying to add an additional person and phone call never returned

   We enjoyed our meals in this restaurant. The menu was quite interesting in its offerings. We both had the Pre Theater Menu and it was a great value with a nice choice of offerings. The vegetable relish placed on the table was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. My only issue was the small size of the table and a lot of dishes. A larger table would have been nicer. It is a definite go back to restaurant.

    Incredible staff and cozy environment. For those who have hearing issues, it is quiet but there is music playing. Was still manageable:)
