   We dined here about a year ago. The food, drinks, and service were just as excellent as last time. Our drinks had more festive floral garnish last year, but they still tasted fantastic. Highly recommended!

   The food was incredible and portions generous. The wedge salad and burgers were to die for. I will say that I tried the twice baked potato and it wasn’t my favorite but that’s not a dig on the restaurant - it’s just not something I am used to. I am glad I tried something new even if it wasn’t my speed. 10/10 would return again.

   I must echo the comments of anyone who calls the alderman a hidden gem. It is truly a little oasis in the hub of Times Square with some of the best food and service I’ve had in a long while.  Everyone we encountered was professional, polite, friendly, relaxed, and service was on point at all times. A special shout out to Hersey at the bar and our server Ethan, who was just tremendous honest and very attentive, to the lovely manager, a young blonde woman whose name I forgot sorry. Had the perfectly prepared salmon and flirt steak entrees from the prix fixe menu plus ALL the other TASTY courses and they were very generous portions, very satisfying and a wonderful value. Cannot recommend this enough if you are going to a show or you just want to have an enjoyable evening dinner lunch or just a coffee from the front barista station. The ambience is warm and tasteful. Like sitting in a garden! Just terrific. You won’t be disappointed.

   Very nice vibe. Nice Bar Area and Bar staff fun willing to share advice on drinks and Apps Good size portions. Not too loud. Waiter was very helpful too with timing to our theater date and food recommendations

   Food was meh, at best. The best part of the prix fixe menu was the pickled vegetables and bread that comes at the start. The burrata, an additional $5 on top of the fixed price, came with toast and hazelnuts, both were burned creating a char that made the burrata hard to eat. The other salad we ordered was fine, but nothing special at all. The entrees were sub par. The skirt steak was incredibly tough. Was given a non serrated and dull steak knife to cut it that did nothing. Somehow managed to be overly salty but also tasteless. Salmon was fine with the best part being a creamed spinach. We chose the restaurant because it was positioned as a place to eat and get to the theater on time. We had a reservation for 2 hours before curtain but the pace of the service left us stressed and racing. At the end we had to gobble down our ice cream and coffee and scramble for the check. Disappointing for a place that is designed to get you to the show on time. Wouldn’t return.

   Wonderful service in a very spacious and unique dining room. Had the pork schnitzel and was given a side of dinner rolls with garlic butter which really elevated the dish. Fantastic overall experience!

    Really enjoy this place since discovering it. I originally went in for the pre theater menu, but have quickly adopted to just ordering off the menu because I love their wedge salad.
