   Had a very nice festive meal with friends, everyone really liked their meal, they certainly did not scrimp on the turkey, my wife could not finish hers. The staff were very efficient and friendly.

   Not our first visit to The Allan Park but was by far the most disappointing. The food was very average and not to the usual standard that we have had on previous visits. A 10% service charge was placed on the bill for very little service-orders were taken then served but no in between to check what had been served was ok. Tables were sticky but not too sure if this was due to not being cleaned properly or if the cleaning material had stripped the coating off the table-either way it was not pleasant to sit at. We were sat in the conservatory which had no atmosphere as the music was only filtering through from the main restaurant.

   Staff did so well on a really busy service day. Yea, we had to wait for our table, but it was worth it.

   We had the festive 3 course dinner which was amazing, great value as also had a glass of prosecco each. Sticky toffee pudding to die for. Woukd definitely recommend this restaurant.

    Food and drinks were excellent. Always enjoy the ambience, it’s always a lovely, relaxed experience. Would have given 5 stars for everything, however on this visit the server took the money for the bill and didn’t return with the change (£8). This was meant as a tip anyway, however we hadn’t said so, and it should have been brought back to the table. Not sure if it was assumed to be a tip, or was a genuine mistake.
