   Would not recommend. Took my partner here for our Valentines dinner, we had arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation but still waited 30 minutes after our reservation time to be seated, the servers kept saying that our table would be free in a couple of minutes but still took a long time. It was clear that they had overbooked. When we were finally seated we were seated next to the toilets (romantic right?). After that we had waited 10 more minutes before anyone took our order, and we had then waited another 30 minutes and 4 times of asking 3 different servers to get some tap water. So it took nearly an hour and a half after arriving just to get our drinks…I would have probably let all of this go if the food had made up for it, but it was quite possibly the most bland and flavourless food I’d had at any restaurant in recent years. The way it was presented was incredibly misleading making us think it was “fine dining” type food but there wasn’t a shred of flavour whatsoever. The sweet potato cakes with “Kimchi” mayo didn’t taste one bit like Kimchi. The Artichoke and potato risotto was also a bit undercooked. The garnishes were also extremely overdone, felt like there was more rocket on top of my dish than there was of the actual dish. We saw that the couple seated next to us had sent the exact same main courses back that we’d ordered, great sign…Overall not a good experience at all, we understand that it was Valentine’s Day and it was going to be busy no matter what, but it was clear that they had handled it very poorly by overbooking and they weren’t able to get themselves out of it.

   The worst dining experience i have have had. Queues of people stood about upon arrival. 45 minutes to be seated, once sat noone took drink order or food order, had to go to bar and ask them to take our order. Had people stood around table as we sat there as they was so far behind with orders. My chair was situated via a door into another room and as there was so many people stood about i kept getting knocked as people passed through to other room. Starter came relatively quick but had to wait over an hour for mains, ordered 4 drinks during the wait, as they brought drinks noone removed the empties from table. After complaining twice about how long wait for mains to arrive, when it did arrive it was cold, we sent it back and it arrived with some ingredients that should have been on the main course missing and the gravy was cold. After nearly 3 hours waiting around we had had enough, explained to the manager and we left. We ended up in a noodle bar as we was hungry after only eating the starter.

   Came here on Valentine's day for 3 course meal. We waited for one to one n half hours for our food but they kept on saying there's a delay. When we asked how long should we wait they didn't give any answer. They didn't even bring out starters. Table management was poor and I still don't know how other tables who came in after us received their order. I used to love the food here but will never come back due to poor service. They ruined my valentines dinner.

   The food was bang average and the service was poor, not the Valentines Eve I had in mind, will not be returning.

   Had the Valentine menue and was dissappointed with the English bland seasonings presentation of a Japanese dish, Italian dish and a sub standard dessert all for £35 a head. Allotment had double booked multiple couples who stood behind us eating, waiting for me to finish which was awkward.

   Fast service. Exceptional food. Friendly efficient staff. Clean & comfortable with a cosy atmosphere. I highly recommend The Allotment Vegan Eatery. We'll definitely be returning.
