Join us for a night with Santa Cruz's cult brewery, Sante Adairius Rustic Ales! Known for their wild and farmhouse brews, they will be bringing hard-to-find bottles that we will be pouring by the glass and offering by the bottle for one-night only. They will also be taking over our drafts for those fresh brews. Our kitchen team will be preparing a few special additions to the menu that you should not miss! If you love beer, this is for you!

Reserve our indoor seating for 7-8 guests and heated outdoor seating for 7-14 guests! We have two seating times and allot 2 hours and 30 minutes for your reservation. The set menu features 10 dishes served family style for $90 per person (a la carte is not available). Beverages are charged upon consumption and we do not allow for corkage. There is a $600 food & beverage minimum for 7-10 guests -or- $1,000 food & beverage minimum for 11-14 guests, which is exclusive of taxes and gratuity. Any changes or cancellations must be made 5 days in advance. We charge the food and beverage minimum should the reservation be canceled within those five days. The $20.00 per person deposit is non-refundable and will be applied to your final bill.

The Anchovy Bar is excited to host Hadeem on March 25th & 26th! After spending time in the kitchen at The Progress, we're thrilled to welcome back Chef Spencer Horovitz to the restaurants. Through Hadeem, Spencer explores California-Jewish cuisine, taking inspiration from the culinary diversity of the Jewish diaspora and fond childhood memories in multicultural Los Angeles. He was most recently nominated for Emerging Chef by the James Beard Foundation and we can't wait to see what he brings to The Anchovy Bar. Hadeem will be taking over our a la carte menu for the night! *Please note The Anchovy Bar menu will be unavailable for this evening.*

Food was very good. Service was solid: frequent but unintrusive. The staff recommendations were spot-on. The mignonette sauce was very weak, but the oysters were some of the best I have had. Just a lovely evening with my family.

Great casual spot from the same restaurant group behind State Bird and Progress. The Anchovy Bar should be on your list if you love seafood. Also a great wine list with an awesome selection of wines by the glass.

The food at Anchovy Bar lived up to its reputation: fabulous! We got lots of things to share. I recommend the platter of mixed seafood for trying all the raw shellfish bites, and the anchovy toasts were excellent. Our server was lovely, very friendly and flexible since we had a party of 5 which doesn't easily split items for 2 or 4 people. We'll be back!

This is an absolute gem of a restaurant. We live nearby and often take friends / visitors there. I think we have a 95% hit rate on converting people to the joy of anchovies, which can sometimes be a polarizing item. But Anchovy Bar does them in such a unique and varied way - it's such a great culinary experience! Always enjoy going back, and the staff is great.

Such a fabulous meal! We weren't sure we liked anchovies, having only eaten the canned kind before tonight. They are superb -- as is everything else we tried -- oysters, scallops, sole, and the smoked fish dip. We highly recommend!

The Progress is my favorite restaurant, so naturally Anchovy Bar has been on my list for too long. They exceeded expectations in every way. Service, vibe, table presence, food, flavors, variety, music, lighting. A++. My only problem is now I have to choose between going back to The Progress or here :) thanks, y’all for a great evening.

A really wonderful, distinctive meal and especially pleasing for its anchovy offerings. Interesting wine list, with many by the glass choices. Our server was great, and the setting stylish.

Soooo good. Have been to State Bird Provisions before and wanted to try the local anchovies here. Delish. Could eat the anchovies every day no problem.
