   Wonderful dinner, and Danny, our server was the best! From the Steak and Lobster to the Pork Chop (which is huge!) to the salad, dinner was wonderful. The French Onion soup is probably the best in Columbus. It was quiet (on a Tuesday), which was great for my husband who is hearing impaired and cannot always hold a conversation in a noisy environment. The staff even checked my coat and brought back to me at the end of the meal (I have been here before and never knew they did that!). You cannot beat any Cameron Mitchell restaurant, but if you want great steak, great atmosphere, and wonderful staff - go the The Avenue in Grandview.

   Great overall, Danny provided wonderful service. The food was good. Nice execution of the Pittsburgh Charr ribeye. A bit loud with the music volume and a little chilly are the only areas for reflection. Thank you

   Neighborhood staple which never disappoints. Continues to be one of our go to locations for a quiet night out. Will be back again, soon. The only downfall to this location, is the fact you have to pay to park and on street parking is scarce.

   We have frequented the Avenue for several special occasions. The service is always top notch. First time we sat in the bar area. A very different vibe than the rest of the restaurant. Loud and fun. Not what I would consider for a romantic date night. On to the food. Best way to describe it was glad this wasn’t our first experience because this was not a typical experience. Appetizer was very salty and should have been a clue to how the rest of the meal was going to be. Lobster and scallops were both heavy on the salt which is a shame since the food is normally so exceptional. In their defense I didn’t mention it to the staff as it was a busy night. Overall, not the best night but not the worst either. They will still be on my list for special occasions and anniversaries.

   The shrimp cocktail is just flat out, low quality... literally seems on par with frozen stuff from Kroger - not even close to being worth the price. Also, the deviled eggs didn't taste like they were made to order. The french-onion soup, the sliders, and the fondue were very good. The salmon dish is delicious. The service and the ambiance were wonderful, A+!!!

    great food, ambience and wait staff very attentive. the music choice is very nice and different, steak was cooked perfectly and tasted awesome. the lobster thermidor was just ok for me but i have never had it before so i just didnt enjoy that taste. the tavern salad was great, fresh and tasty, vegetable choices in the salad was perfect. the table bread came out super hot with nice soft butter. that bread was excellent! overall great experience, not to mention the free dessert for my husbands birthday....
