Excellent brunch. Tapas sized portions were a great way to try a few things. Absolutely loved the breakfast poutine and Eggs Benedict.

Arrived on time after having confirmed our reservation. Found four other couples waiting in the entrance with no staff in sight. After waiting till 10 minutes after without seeing anyone, we left to see if we could be seated at another restaurant- this didn't work out so we came back again to see the same group of people still waiting. We left. Terrible experience.

We had an excellent evening at the Badley. Drinks were amazing as usual, the smoked old fashioned is a personal favorite. Appetizers and steaks were all prepared well and to order. The mushroom sauce was exceptional. Dessert is a specialty of the Badley. The chocolate tart was excellent. Finally, the service was great. We will definitely be back.

Great food. Service was great. We sat in the bar side which seems a lot more cozier and comfortable than the other side. The other side seems like a diner. The 2 different spaces don’t seem to connect. The place probably needs a revamp inside but the food was great !

We went Sunday night with a reservation. Restaurant was not busy. Service was slow, took a while to get my drink. Multiple items on the limited menu was unavailable. Steak frites was an overcooked pot roast and not a steak that was supposed to be cooked to order. Dessert which we were told came from a Michelin star pastry chef was hard and dry. Overall not a great experience and food was not great considering how expensive it was.

One of the worst experiences I ever had, service was extremely slow and the food was terrible, received a raw steak, the potato’s that was the side dish came after all the mains and it was COLD!

Food is fantastic. Ordered the porterhouse steak and it was amazing. Sides were great as well and the appetizers were fantastic too (soup and tacos). Service not so great - out waitress was not great. Looked crabby, seemed annoyed, did not want to be there and it showed. No smile and just plain old grumpy. Overall would eat here again as the food was fantastic - hoping service will be better next time.

Certainly the worse dining experience I have ever had. Unfortunately we waited over 1.5 hours to receive our meals which were extremely disappointing. Only 1 of 3 of us ended up actually eating. Our server did not check in with us, bring us water or accommodate this in any way. Would not eat here again.

Our experience at Badley was very bad. They kept us waiting for atleast 30 mind just to give us the menu and offer some water. When we ordered the food they took more than an hour to serve the food. When we asked what is going on they just answered it's cooing. And the management seems okay with it. All together it was a very bad experience for us. Never going back again.

Do NOT book at The Badley Steakhouse and Bar for Sunday evening dinner. We booked on a busy Sunday evening in Elora when the town was packed with people - but the restaurant was not busy at all. This should have been our first sign to go elsewhere. When we arrived they did not have our reservation on-file, but we were seated quickly. First thing to note is that this is not a Steakhouse. The receipt says "Elora Diner and The Badley Bar" and the decor is of a diner/bar that needs updating, despite the beautiful outside stone exterior of the building. The restaurant was not full, with maybe 6-8 tables maximum on a Sunday evening. Still, our food took 1 hour 15 minutes+ to arrive for a family of five. The two waiting staff were kind, and apologized several times for the delays. Food was served one plate-at-a-time, given the long delay and the fact we had hungry kids who couldn't wait much longer. While we might have been able to excuse this on another night, I had booked the restaurant for my wife's 40th birthday, thinking this place would be a good option for a high-end dinner that also had a kids' menu. The food was good when it arrived, other than my bison burger that was red on the inside - even for someone like me who likes rare beef, I couldn't eat the centre. The kids enjoyed fish & chips, steak, and a kids' pizza. But at the high prices charged, it was not worth the long delays to get our food. We felt awful for the waiting staff who had nothing to do with the delays. Whoever is running The Badley needs to hire more staff, particularly more cooking staff on a Sunday evening when the town of Elora was busy with visitors.
