Was very happy that food was good this evening. The wine, salad, fettuccine special with braised beef, and dessert all terrific. Service also excellent. Last time we ate there (2 weeks ago) my meal was really awful and when I spoke to manager he was pretty indifferent so I was about to give up and not return but glad we came to dine again tonight.

Better steak at home. Sides were mediocre at best. Service was satisfactory only.

This was our first time at The Banks. We stayed at The AKA Hotel and it was right around the corner with good reviews so we made a reservation. First let me start by saying I have been all over the US and some of Europe, so I know good food from bad. This meal from the start was not great. We ordered sparkling water, and a bottle of wine. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and the presentation was messy, like it was thrown on the plate. The calamari was very greasy and had more pieces of fried zucchini than calamari. At this point we were alittle skeptical about her meals. The bread came out and it was one roll, cold and tasted stale. Then came our meals, I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered the tuna. My salmon was burnt on the top, the risotto was over cooked and so oily you could see it on the plate. My husbands tuna was an awful cut, the sauce tasted like nothing we have ever tasted. Overall, we will never go back.

We went on a Saturday but it was snowing so it was not that busy. The service was excellent and I don’t think the slowness of the night had anything to do with it. The food was excellent and our server knew alot about the dishes. All in all great night

Valentines Pre-Fixed was absolutely outstanding. The Lobster Cavatelli is worth the price of admission alone. Our Server Jessica was outstanding - attentive, thoughtful, and considerate. My NY Strip was slightly undercooked from my Medium request, but the kitchen was undoubtedly earning their keep on a busy night. Would definitely return, and this is a great spot to celebrate Valentine’s.

Excellent food and service. The Branzino, salmon, and filet mignon entrees, as well as the oyster, ceviche, and octopus appetizers were excellent. We have been impressed every time we dine here. The waiter’s recommendations on the fish entrees were perfect. Definitely coming back!

Had the salmon entree and filet with a few sides, salmon was pretty average and so was the filet especially given it was like a $75 steak

Unfortunately we did not have the best night. We were a family of four traveling in Boston and it was Valentine's Day. We booked an early reservation and ordered off the regular menu. It took a really long time for our food to come, and when it did it felt like it had been sitting for quite some time, it was lukewarm. She offered to take it back to heat it up but we had waited a long time in the first place. Although the food was fine the portions were small for the price and the service wasn't great. She did comp one of our meals which was very kind but I'm not sure we would go back.

Not great. We went on Valentine's Day and had the special menu for Valentine's. The concept was nice, the menu description included wagyu, caviar, and truffles. The reality, the wagyu starter was one bite, very tiny, the caviar was so little we couldn't even taste it. The truffles on top of the tartar were preserved truffles, not what we expected and the truffle sauce on the undercooked tomahawk tasted very artificial. The mashed potatoes were a cream, almost liquid, also with a very artificial truffle taste. So the idea was nice but poorly executed and the quality was not good at all. The wine pairing wasn't the best wither and our waiter was completely lost. So in the end, we regretted our choice. Not worth the price that was charged.
