We’re teaming up with Charles Heidsieck to see in the New Year. Expect a decadent evening with a sumptuous feast, live music and, of course, Charles Heidsieck Champagne. Your evening will begin in the pub with canapes, moving to the Restaurant for dinner, and then end in the pub downstairs to dance the night away with a DJ to see midnight in with friends and family. This experience price will be £95 per person which includes a welcome drink & canapes, 3 courses plus access to the party afterwards. A discretionary service charge will be added to the final bill on conclusion of the meal. Open until 2am. Canapes: Truffled Goat’s Curd, Steak Tartare, Breaded Oyster Starter: Dressed Crab Main: Forerib of Beef Pudding: Chocolate Soufflé

Excellent roast pork for dish of day. Smoked cod’s roe was very good too.

A perfect main course roast. Good service and good wine. Maybe a nice crumble on the dessert menu?

Very good food. My wife said that the beef from the carvery was some of the best she had eaten in a long time. A perfectly poured pint of Guinness to start, and a good wine list to go with the food thereafter. Luckily they serve a selection of wines in 375ml carafes, as I couldn't have managed a whole bottle.

Absolutely fantastic meal at the barley mow. The service was excellent, perfectly attentive without being overwhelming. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and was kind enough to give us a free cocktail and ice cream as it was my partner’s birthday. The food was some of the best we’ve ever had, and incredible value for money. We’d not been to a cubitt house pub before and it will absolutely be at the top of our list for next time we are in London. 10/10.

Very nice place, good food and atmosphere. Was nice for our first family dinner in London with the boys.

A lovely welcome from the staff on our arrival. They were clearly passionate about the food and great at guiding us through the menu. Excellent food, calm relaxed atmosphere, we didn’t want to leave. A really great afternoon.

We had a big group of 8 and last minute wanted to find a place for a Sunday Roast. The Barley Mow had an available reservation so we took it and BOY it did not disappoint. They have so many options for a roast (our group did the beef, chicken, and lamb) and each dish was delicious. Our server was also great with our big group and super helpful in recommending dishes and drinks.

Breakfast however was delicious. Full of flavour. Only grumble was that was never asked how I wanted my eggs. But tbh would I go back for it hell yeah!!
