The Barrel Room offers guests a unique experience with our regionally focused domestic menu. Our menu feature the cuisine, wines, and spirits of regions from across the united states, with amazing wines from undiscovered, and underrepresented regions from around the country. Our wine list offers our guests small-production, responsibly farmed wines from iconic and influential producers organized into flights or by the glass.

Right around the corner from the Transamerica Pyramid and across the street from the Bentley Reserve, The Barrel Room has been honored to serve the community in the heart of the financial district since 2015.

It was a bad night for the team there. We had three different people serving our table. On one occasion one person took all our starter plates and cutlery ahead of the mains coming, a different person brought over the missing starter and apologized it was late but left us with the starter and no cutlery. Then a different person came over and gave us cutlery for our mains.

Overall ok, nice interior design, good food, but several downsides. I imagined this spot to be great for a date night restaurant. The interior design is great, but it’s small/cramped and loud. Overall, it’s more like a fancy bar with good food, but not ideal for a romantic date-night restaurant. Prices are a bit high for a nice bar, and seem to reflect trying to be a nice restaurant. Service was mediocre, again more like a bar; they take your order and bring your food but don’t check in or refill drinks without being flagged down.

4 kiwis bowled up based on a recommendation from our local wine shop. Great service friendly and welcoming great knowledge of the wine and food available. Very enjoyable night. Thanks to the great Londoner who looked after us so well

For a business dinner the service was atrocious. I was embarrassed I chose the restaurant. Wine bottle value was good. Food was fine, but overshadowed by the service.
