   The service was great, from the person who greeted us to the staff helping us with jackets on our way out. Atmosphere is moody and perfect for a cozy date night - live jazz music was amazing.

   I had high expectations for this steakhouse, but unfortunately, it fell short. I ordered the Bourbon Infused Sirloin, expecting a rich, flavorful experience, but the infusion was barely noticeable. The quality of the meat also didn’t justify the premium price, leaving the entire dish rather underwhelming. For the cost, I anticipated a much higher standard, both in flavor and quality. Overall, it was a lackluster experience that I wouldn’t be willing to pay for again.

   This restaurant is a regular of mine when in Halifax, unfortunately last night they did not deliver. Very nice waitress, pleasant enough and said how slow things were, we chatted how my daughter had an early day the next day and we would be efficient on our ordering and didn’t want to waste time. The drinks took about 10 minutes however waited for apps for over an hour. The apps were bruschetta and 6 oysters, why over an hour was crazy. The waitress was apologetic and said kitchen was a problem. I did say this was crazy to wait this long. 15 minutes later we received our mains which wasn’t all that bad considering waiting over an hour for the apps. The steaks were mediocre, not char crusted as requested and over cooked considering I asked for medium rare. Also these are pricey and definitely not worth it. The whole experience was under whelming and suggest if you are going for a $300 dinner, there may be more options. I’ll try something different next time in town.

   We made reservations 2 months ago. We arrived and were told that there was a private party which took up the entire main floor and bar area. We were seated upstairs. There was no atmosphere. Very dark and only 6 other patrons the entire time that we were there. Food and service were very good. Overall disappointing. We might as well have eaten at home. Zero ambience.
