Set in the Waldorf Astoria Washington DC, The Bazaar is the culmination of a 30-year dream for Chef José Andrés. Drawing inspiration from this iconic location, which first opened in 1899 and served as DC’s General Post Office until 1914, The Bazaar is a multi-level destination reinvented with avant-garde and Americana-inspired decor.

    We loved the food, there was only one item we wouldn’t order again. Service was hit and miss. Took a long time to bring out several of the dishes and they forgot one of them. Overall food was very good but too expensive. Not great value for money.

    So far, the best restaurant in DC. The food was really good and the cocktails well prepared. It's on my best place to eat list.

    One of the best restaurants in DC, maybe in the U.S. Food and service is of course what you would expect from Jose Andres’ restaurant, but the ambience of the great hall at the Waldorf Astoria makes it very festive. A must place to go if it fits your budget for a special night out.

    Exceptional experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, elegant yet comfortable at the same time. The service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, attentive without being intrusive. We had the tasting menu, which I highly recommend. You get to try so many amazing dishes full of flavor and beautifully presented. Its expensive but overall it was very enjoyable and a nice option if you are looking for a unique experience or a special occasion. I would definitely return.

    Wonderful meal, excellent staff, nice wine. Dessert was crazy weak. Tasing menu with just some dry cookies at the end. Not much of a desert after an otherwise creative and lovely meal. We were not hungry, but some sweet treat would have been welcome. An underwhelming finish.

    Incredible setting for a fabulous meal. Everything we were served was excellent. Service was top notch. Perfect for a special occasion!
