Am a Jose Andres fan so was waiting to try this place. The food was excellent - especially the peach burrata, tuna empanadas, and the sashimi. However, the service was so poor - missing plates, missing dishes - forgotten orders, drinks - just overall sloppy and not fit for the kind of restaurant this is. It is expensive - and rightly so for the food it serves - but one expects good service at such a place too.

There was a lovely hand written card waiting for our birthday guest. Many yummy cocktail selections- Marg Grana was great. Eggplant, cucumbers, and scallops were good. Sadly, the cod was not fresh and the prawn is way over priced- one large prawn, good for about 8 bites for $64. The food came out leisurely so we could enjoy all the courses.

We ordered the tasting menu and 4 of the dishes came out all at the same time, and even before we had our drinks. When we complained, and told them to slow down, they didn’t even apologize. They made us feel like we were asking for something crazy. The dishes were removed immediately, as I was still finishing my bite. Appreciate wanting the tables to look clean, but let me enjoy the food and not constantly have a waiter hover over me. This was my second time there this year. I do not plan to go back ever. Which is a shame, as I like Jose’s food. But the service is just terrible for a dinner I paid almost $1,000 for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Bazaar. The food was delicious and our waiters in the restaurant were exceptional. Attentive, pleasant and readily available. My only concern was the wait in the bar prior to going upstairs. We sat in the lounge and waited for a while to flag someone down to serve us which was a disheartening way to start the evening. The receptionist was great however the bar service was less than expected.
