   Have been here several times before and had a good experience. This time was poor. Restaurant was understaffed and continued to seat guests without reservations ahead of reservations. Tables were unattended for long periods with guests waiting for checks, drinks and food. No one from the restaurant walked to tables to check on guests despite the wait. The beautiful sunset was the only reason to stay.

   Gorgeous atmosphere on the water, excellent service and food. My husband and daughter loved the lobster/shrimp mac and cheese. Highly recommend!

   The view was fantastic, we sat next to the water and had the benefit of watching fireworks over the water for the wedding at the restaurant next door. Our meal was good. The service is unfortunately where this experience fell flat. We had a reservation made days in advance. We showed up a few minutes early for our reservation and were told the only tables available were off to the side next to the trash where the walk ups without reservation were being seated. These were tables for 2-3 people, not the 5 in our reservation that I had reserved with a request for dinner by the water for our last night of family vacation. It seems our reservation was not acknowledged at all and the hostess was not concerned. Were told nothing could be done. After I let her know that it was our last night she kindly offered the patio so we were not at the edge of the property, but then a table was suddenly available next to the water so we ended up in a great spot, but by then we were a bit frustrated. Our server was very friendly. Service was very slow. We'd been there an hour with only water. Over 90 minutes to get our meals and the appetizer never arrived and was brought during the meal after we inquired about it. I don't blame the server, she was working several large tables and it seemed she was bringing the food when it was ready. While we enjoyed the location, it won't be on our must do list if we return to this area. Good for families and groups, but plan to spend some time there.

   Another wonderful evening at the Beach Café and bar! We had our favorite waiter PJ wait on us.  We had the mahi tacos, the Corvina fish special, hamburger, mac & cheese, and chicken nuggets. Everything was delicious! They have some of the best chicken wings we've had down here in the Keys very meaty.

   Unfortunately this restaurant did not measure up. It’s a lot of fuss for poor food quality at a high price tag. The service was terrible! We were seated and given waters which our teens drank, but I had to ask 30 minutes later when there was no sign of our waiter and our orders had not been taken if we could have more water. The staff acted annoyed at my request. My husband and I ordered the watermelon salad. I asked for added shrimp but no onion. They brought salads out, but no shrimp on mine and no onion on his. It took another 15-20 minutes to receive them. The salad has about three arugula leaves and a sprinkle of goat cheese. So you are paying $18 for cubed watermelon that was not even sweet and fresh. Total drag!

   This place looked good from the reviews, but that was terribly misleading. Got there, and the trash dumpsters are out by the cars and smelled horrible. The hostess took her time very slowly getting to people. The waiter barely came, and took forever. Food was ok, but definitely not worth the time. Go somewhere else

   Great location on a very nice weather evening. Arrive before the crowd, which became a very good thing as it appeared. The restaurant was understaffed food was average.
