The Spirit Free experience is totally worth it. We don't drink alcohol anyway so the other options were not for us. We paid $75 per person, and we both got a $20 appetizer, $10 drinks, and a $42 entree and it also came with tickets to View Boston, which are $25. So the total value is $20 + $10 + $42 + $25 = $97 but we only paid $75 per person

All around very good experience. Our server Ramon was very attentive, and our food was very good. good menu selection for varied tastes. Pleasantly surprised at the lobster roll which was a good value, as were all of our dishes. The only downside is that quite a few tables, especially those in the bar section, do not have a good view which is the main reason to go to this restaurant

I was kind of disappointed to be honest, but it was Valentine’s Day so I’m sure they were overwhelmed. We sat down around 745. Dinner came out after 9, I think about 930. I last checked the time around 910. My dates dinner was nice and hot, mine was ice cold. I didn’t bother getting a new one which was offered. They did comp some drinks which was nice. We did not get to enjoy the view after dinner. They close at 10 and essentially rushed us out while we tried to snap a couple pictures. Our server did the best she could and was very nice. The non restaurant staff were pushy and not very friendly.

I am writing this as someone who regularly dined at “Top of the Hub” for special occasions and this was my first visit since it has been rebranded “View Boston”. Keeping that in mind, I was very disappointed at what this once very elegant and esteemed restaurant has been turned into. Our waiter was friendly enough, the food wasn’t bad or that expensive, but the restaurant has a very touristy feel now and the old charm is gone. You have to pay a cover charge before you can head up to the restaurant even if you already have reservations, which I didn’t realize. When you make your way up to the attraction, the views are just as spectacular but the magic is missing. They have a gift shop, a theater presentation which reminded me of the Omni at the Museum of Science, and places to take pictures and a bar. One improvement is they have opened the outside up so outdoor viewing and dining in the summer would be very nice. I would go again but I know what to expect now. Don’t let this stop anyone from going who’s never been before, it was still a nice experience and would be great for anyone who’s never been before.
