   Beautiful pub in a beautiful village with beautifully presented food. Excellent range from pub classics (e.g. burger, fish and chips) to more refined dishes; everything, even the chips, appeared to be made in house. Make sure to order an espresso to get one of the chef's own cookies. Service excellent, plenty of parking if driving in from elsewhere (just over 1 hour from London), large open fire in bar. Book as there are a limited number of indoor tables.

   Much better than it used to be. Food good. A bit short on staff due to illness, but they were still good and very pleasant and apologetic. Wine a bit more than we wanted to pay, as the one we wanted was not available, but it was very nice. Nice and busy so a good atmosphere. We will go back.

   This 500 yr old pub exudes atmosphere and charm, and the food was just a notch above what was expected. Great people, friendly and experienced. Definitely a destination, as the village is beyond beautiful!

   We had a delicious meal presented well. Beer and wine were also very good. Have eaten here a few times and it is always very good.

   Another lovely roast at the Kersey Bell Our second visit in recent weeks, delicious roast sirloin of beef with all the trimmings, generous two slices of sirloin with a good bit of fat, how it should be served. Delicious braised red cabbage and roasted roots A very reasonably priced children’s menu at £10 includes main, a drink and dessert. The service was superb, as it was last time. There was a rather disgruntled customer on the table next to us giving the staff a very hard time, who from the moment he sat down was moaning about how the menu was written, it was clear he was determined to find fault throughout his meal, whilst we found it rather amusing listening to his moans on groans, on the contrary we couldn’t disagree more with his faults and found the whole kersey bell dining experience 10/10 and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.
