The Bell Inn has always been an important part of Kersey– a hub for the community throughout the years. More than that, however, we’re a destination pub, too. People travel from far and wide to eat and drink at our establishment, and we take pride in welcoming one and all and we are also dog friendly. Located in the historic village of Kersey two miles north of Hadleigh, The Bell Inn is the perfect place to drop into whilst taking in its picturesque surroundings and lovely country walks. We’ve ample parking space to accommodate your trip and our home-cooked meals are bound to impress yourself and your guests.

The Bell is our local village pub and it’s going from strength to strength. We ate on Saturday evening. The food was delicious and the service prompt and friendly. We shall return often!

The Bell is a transformed and delightful "proper" rural pub, after decades in the doldrums. We had a good evening in the village we know so well. Good food from an interesting menu. We'll be back! Fred Bramham.

I and 3 friends had a fabulous lunch here, it was such a lovely welcome to see the open fire roaing away on a cold, wet miserable February day. The pub has a wealth of beautiful features, a lovely cosy sofa area in the bar and a nice buzz on entrance. We were welcomed straight away and shown to our table in another beautiful room, again with a lovely log fire going although unfortunately could not see this one as the doors were shut on wood burner, but it was lovely and warm. The food was amazing and we each had a dessert which was very generous but still devoured it! Will be returning for sure!!

Absolutely lovely, so cosy and the food was great. The bar side was a little busier but the dining side was quiet and relaxing. Would definitely eat here again. All staff were wonderful.

Beautiful pub in a beautiful village with beautifully presented food. Excellent range from pub classics (e.g. burger, fish and chips) to more refined dishes; everything, even the chips, appeared to be made in house. Make sure to order an espresso to get one of the chef's own cookies. Service excellent, plenty of parking if driving in from elsewhere (just over 1 hour from London), large open fire in bar. Book as there are a limited number of indoor tables.

Much better than it used to be. Food good. A bit short on staff due to illness, but they were still good and very pleasant and apologetic. Wine a bit more than we wanted to pay, as the one we wanted was not available, but it was very nice. Nice and busy so a good atmosphere. We will go back.
