   Friendly staff, comfortably warm on a cold day, staff attentive and food lovely, with fresh vegetables and crispy French fries. Just a little expensive for main course dishes

   As regular diners should not be surprised but excellent service and food , certainly one of the best local roast dinners available. Keep up the good work.

   Fantastic dinner which has a menu varying from pub classic to more seasonal options. Managed to cater for us as well as my 4 year old daughter. Staff and service friendly and quick. We went for an early booking as going with our 4 year old daughter so noise was quiet when we got there but still very welcoming. Restaurant filled up around 19.00ish. Will look forward to going again.

   We have visited the Bell at Purton Stoke regularly and have always had excellent food and service. It's a nice relaxing atmosphere and menu choice is very good. You have to book but this is not surprising as it is a great place to go.

   Ive always chosen to follow the owners who are currently at the Bell, from the Three Crowns at Brinkworth, to the next two places to finally here. The food has always been outstanding, however I was very disappointed the lack of options on the menu, its drastically reduced, the food itself is not as tasty, and the atmosphere is sorely lacking at the Bell. When parties of maybe 5+ are in the noise level is terrible, you cannot have a conversation because you just cannot hear the person you are dining with. Its such a shame, as I would always go out my way (as I did last night) to dine at their restaurants/pubs.
