   We made a reservation on Christmas day and got right in. The service was great and the food was amazing. I had the smothered beef tips and my husband had the chicken fried chicken.

   Steak was the butt end of a big slab of meat. Ordered Medium, received Well Done. Never should have put that piece of meat on a plate.

   This was a fun restaurant, full of boisterous people having a good time. The meats were delicious, and the food was good. Dessert , coconut cake, tasted of chemicals and was way too sweet. It’s the quintessential Texan experience.

   We were a group of 8 dining in for dinner. We have been here multiple times, however, this time we were underwhelmed by the food. Our potatoes were lukewarm and the steaks had a ton of pepper on them. They were served lukewarm as well. The place is fun and is still has great ambiance, especially decorated for Christmas as it was. Sad the food did not live up to our expectations.

   The food was terrible. We didn't get paid for what we ordered at all. They took extra money for sharing a menu when it wasn't notified to us beforehand. The waitress was very rude and snappish, made it obvious that she was angry when she received zero tip for the bad service. No matter how famous the place is, wouldn't reccomend it to anyone and wouldn't come here again.

    Dining here was definitely an experience. The food was decent enough though. The restaurant was all done up for Christmas which added to the ambience. Their brewery beers were really good. If you’re coming through town it’s definitely a place to check out.
