Situated in the heart of York in a historic converted church. We took our inspiration from a trip to New York where spacious urban chic is the norm.

The restaurant features comfy booths on the ground floor and a mezzanine garden themed restaurant overlooking the island bar.

Everything is freshly prepared and cooked using the finest quality locally sourced ingredients by our talented Head Chef and his team.

We went there for Valentine’s Day lovely food big portions and reasonable price, the service was prompt but waiter were not enthusiastic perhaps because it was busy. Would go again this is a lovely spot for a romantic meal and couples in general.

Had booked for 4:45 on a Saturday. Rang the restaurant on the day to see if they could fit us in any earlier and they said yes, to just pop down now and they could get us a table. It’s was absolutely rammed, full off hen parties and big group and the woman told us they were at full capacity and to just come back when we had our booking. Fair enough for a Saturday, but they could have told us that on the phone. We went back at 4:40 and they said they have double booked and couldn’t fit us in. They got us a table at the restaurant next door which was good of them but it was a completely different experience than we had expected. The food was just alright and a bit overpriced for what it was but they did offer free complimentary drink for me and my partner which was kind of them. Just disappointing that we couldn’t get what we had booed.

We booked a table through open table for Thursday and 7.30, but on turning up to the restaurant found it to be closed. Everywhere online indicated it to be open. This was very disappointing and left us hunting around for somewhere to eat.

My food was only just warm whereas my husbands was piping hot. The service was really slow considering they were quiet. Waited 30 minutes for a drink to come to the table, then waited again for a 2nd one which came just as we were about to pay and leave.

We were a group of 5 who came for the Bottomless Brunch. Having had terrible experiences at different venues previously, we didnt have high hopes, but we could not have been any happier. The service and staff were amazing. We were never left with an empty glass! Such a good variety of drinks in the package - especially thr espresso martinis. Also, the food was great and came out promptly. Also helps its a gorgeous venue. Definitely recommend!xxx

Fab settings and great menu - which was so reasonably priced! A must visit for sure when in York.

We had a lovely night and can’t thank Brad enough as the service he gave us was outstanding. The food was amazing and we will definitely be back on our next visit to York Thank you so much Brad and all the staff.

Really enjoyable meal. Food was very tasty and good value. The setting was nice and special mention to the very friendly server. Would recommend.
