Situated in the heart of York in a historic converted church. We took our inspiration from a trip to New York where spacious urban chic is the norm.

The restaurant features comfy booths on the ground floor and a mezzanine garden themed restaurant overlooking the island bar.

Everything is freshly prepared and cooked using the finest quality locally sourced ingredients by our talented Head Chef and his team.

My food was only just warm whereas my husbands was piping hot. The service was really slow considering they were quiet. Waited 30 minutes for a drink to come to the table, then waited again for a 2nd one which came just as we were about to pay and leave.

We were a group of 5 who came for the Bottomless Brunch. Having had terrible experiences at different venues previously, we didnt have high hopes, but we could not have been any happier. The service and staff were amazing. We were never left with an empty glass! Such a good variety of drinks in the package - especially thr espresso martinis. Also, the food was great and came out promptly. Also helps its a gorgeous venue. Definitely recommend!xxx

We had a lovely night and can’t thank Brad enough as the service he gave us was outstanding. The food was amazing and we will definitely be back on our next visit to York Thank you so much Brad and all the staff.

Really enjoyable meal. Food was very tasty and good value. The setting was nice and special mention to the very friendly server. Would recommend.

Always a fan of this place, the food is fantastic, the drinks are perfect but for me its always the staff. They make you feel so welcome and so friendly for chats and recommendations. Will always eat here when i travel to York

we walked in and there chewed up chips on the floor, no table was cleared. Furthermore, the worst point of all a USED CHEWING GUM was in my water glass when i was seated!! What i thought was going to be a nice birthday meal turned out to be one of the most unhygienic horror shows i have ever seen. After putting up with this monstrosity of a dining experience we had to walk straight back out of the bar and grill. Luckily for us, there was a lovely restaurant opposite called d’vine straight opposite were i enjoyed a beautiful birthday meal, with top tier staff so much better than that joke of a place.
