Welcome to The Blue Ball.
A Great British Pub in the heart of the beautiful village of Walton on the Hill, Tadworth serving great locally sourced food and real ales.
Our menu features all your favourite pub classics and legendary Sunday roasts, alongside more fine dining options and an extended grill section.
Inside, dine in our large and spacious dining room, or grab a bite in the bar as you see fit; four-legged friends are welcome too.
Outdoors, bask on our ample terrace or garden for sundowner drinks and al fresco dining, or cosy up in one of our outdoor thatched huts, complete with their own heaters.
We've got a fun-packed children's play area onside as well.

Starters were tasty Main meals for our group of 7 was cold we all had roast and they put the veg and potatoes on a plate and they were cold to. We complained to the server and she said she had a word with her manager .we git a discount but not once did the manager come to our table and apologise .I felt for our server who was so nice .Will not return again .

Service wasn't quick as it might have been although I believe training was going on. The "rare roast beef" was medium at best, but the other food was OK. The staff kept leaving the door to a store cupboard open leaving an unpleasant draft. They did however keep it closed once we complained

My second visit to this restaurant. Everything, especially the food and service, was wonderful. My only criticism was that the food, the super Mega Roast, could have been hotter... ...of course, we could have complained at the time, but the bother of taking the plates of food away to re-heat would have spoilt the overall experience of a celebration lunch.

I recently booked an area at The Blue Ball for my son's 18th birthday on New Year's Eve. The booking system was great and the staff were very helpful. The manager was also lovely and very accommodating. The food was delayed, but the staff explained the situation and apologised for the inconvenience. I was disappointed that my eggs royale arrived with a slice of ham, but there was no mention of this on the menu. The manager seemed to think that the chef had combined two dishes! My mum’s was the same Unfortunately, the manager didn't offer to change it, which was disappointing. Overall, I had a mixed experience at The Blue Ball. The staff and atmosphere were great, but the food was disappointing. I would recommend this pub for drinks and a casual atmosphere

The Restaurant cancelled on me 30 mins before a Boxing Day reservation. Disappointing

After 90 minutes waiting for food to be served we left as could t wait any longer. Pub is nice and previous visits have been good .

A Perfect Post-Dog-Walk Spot! We visited The Blue Ball in Walton on the Hill after a lovely dog walk, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. There were four of us and four dogs, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a walk. The food was absolutely fantastic—clearly made with care and attention to detail. It’s not every day you find a pub that excels at both great food and a friendly vibe! A special mention goes to the manager, an Irish gentleman I recognized from a visit the year before. I didn’t catch his name, but he’s absolutely first class—fantastic with both customers and his team. His leadership clearly shines through, as both the waitresses and waiters were superb, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. The staff’s friendliness extended to our furry companions too, making it a truly dog-friendly spot. If you’re in the area, whether for a walk or just a good meal, I couldn’t recommend The Blue Ball highly enough.

A group of walkers. Friendly and attentive service in attractive surroundings. Food well presented with generous helpings.

We visited the Blue Ball with a large table booking. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They were kind, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great. We will definitely be back. Thank you to all the team from the bar staff, waiting staff and chef 👌🏽
