Located in the heart of Cuyahoga Falls, near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Blossom Music Center, The Blue Door Cafe now also offers an elevated but casual dinner service. Showcasing an eighteen foot poured concrete bar, more spacious and comfortable seating and many other nuanced improvements, The Blue Door offers a seasonal and rotating menu featuring charred burgers, house made pastas, hand formed dumplings, air shipped seafoods, and wagyu steaks. The Blue Door proudly sources ingredients from local farms as well as nationally recognized purveyors such as Portland Maine's Browne Trading Company and Ohio's own The Chef's Garden! Dishes with a European and global flair are carefully created and prepared using techniques that draw upon and showcase the skills of our culinary team. Join us for curated whiskeys, bourbons, cocktails, beers and wines, an elegant, clean and ever improving dining room, attentive and friendly service and of course exceptional food!

While we’ve had breakfast there many times this is our first time having dinner and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The food was excellent. We ordered two appetizers to start, the mushroom ravioli, and the dumplings. Both were wonderful with the ravioli being the stand out. For dinner, I had the fish and chips. My companion had the jagerschnitzel, and we were both pleased with our choices. We indulged in a dessert each I had the Boston cream pie with my companion having the early spring lemon tart. Both were very good and we agreed the tart was the winner. Do yourself a favor and have dinner here soon. It’s a great value with exceptional food

I have been trying to get to blue door for brunch for over 3 years. Still haven’t made it but last night we went for happy hour, about 6 PM. I’m so glad we did! It was wonderful from beginning to end. The restaurant itself isn’t that big although the food the chefs put out is huge in flavor and presentation in a comfort food kind of way. We all had the fish and chips. Delicious! Well beyond delicious! The 3 pieces of crispy batter dipped cod & wonderfully cooked fries served the old school way in a paper bag laying on its side on a plate…very whimsical! Kind of an odd shout out. ..I really liked the salad with the shallot dressing! Whoever dressed the salad did a wonderful job just enough, not too much dressing. While everything about the restaurant is upscale-ish, it’s beyond welcoming & comfortable, not at all pretentious. Our server, Aaron was a-amazing! He was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. Not once did we feel he was rushing or to busy to talk with us! I’m already thinking about what I’ll get next time… Thank you Blue Door for a very enjoyable evening!

We chose the blue door to celebrate our fourth anniversary and it couldn’t have been better. The intimate dining area is a welcome change,service was professional and unintrusive. The food was the star of the show! The blue door deserves it its reputation.

An excellent place for a tasteful delicious meal! The veal was outstanding with perfect breading, served with an artistic salad. We ordered the sourdough bread appetizer, which was not what we expected, as we thought it would have been more of charcuterie board with the plain bread and oil dip, with cheese and vegetables. The 2 half pieces of bread was seeped in oil / butter and toasted and then sitting in oil with the cheese and vegetables in the bowl. The banana foster bread pudding was a delightful end. Would recommend overall. The staff was fabulous and friendly.

The food is excellent as always. They have specials on Thursday and Sunday nights. Our server, Aaron was very attentive and friendly. We love their brunch and will definitely be back for dinner!! This is a must to check out!!

Our waiter Aaron is always attentive and tries to please. The food is nicely prepared and always tasty.

You approach and you think you are going into a joint, but once you walk in, you you know you are in a special place. I’m reluctant to write a review for the selfish reason of introducing people to the Blue Door Cafe. Let me state that the entire experience from the cocktails to the home made bread with honey butter to the four meals we ordered (there were only two of us), to the espresso and chocolate soufflé were, well, if I were Elisa Doolittle, I would be singing “I could have danced all night’’. That is the feeling you ant the Blue Door Cafe. Thank you to the owners, Micheal and Jen, and to Mike who tended to our wine for a lovely evening.

Never been disappointed! Great quality food and service! Dessert always the cherry on top of a perfect overall experience! So grateful for a fine, comfortable dining experience close to home!
