Lovely food, garlic bread is a strong 10/10!! Had quite a fair few customers for a Thursday lunch time which says alot about the place. Well done 👏🏼

Excellent food and great service, it was also a plus being dog friendly. The Vegan salted caramel cheesecake was superb. Although at the high end of the price range it was still good value for the quality of food.

Was very busy, food took around 30 mins to arrive (Sunday lunch). Food served on the plate was just warm. Waited about 5 mins for veg to arrive. Served our veg on the plate only to find it was cold. Gravy sent back as was cold. Had to ask for mint sauce - not offered. Returned remaining veg to be reheated, had to ask after 10 mins where it was. Lamb was extremely over cooked and dry so flavour was not great. We were ‘served’ but service wasn’t good. No smiles, no warmth. We went to pay, the server, as pass, asked if everything was ok, I replied, no actually it wasn’t. I had a reply with …. well we’ve served 300 people and you’re the only one to complain…. Conversation was happening over her shoulder without much feeling, didn’t take time to turn to me to talk. Lamb taken off bill. We had booked a table for Thursday which we have now cancelled. We are local so really disappointed with our visit. May possibly try an evening meal at some stage in the future but won’t be in a rush.
