Head Chef Paul and the team welcome you to enjoy an amazing menu that is fresh with all local suppliers. 2nd time I have eaten here in Dec and both times the food quality and portions were incredible.

Great cosy gastropub. The food is great, the service is friendly and we can bring our dogs! Really nice atmosphere in the snug. We'll be back.

Lovely little pub with a friendly and cosy atmosphere. The food took a very long time getting out. We often had to correct or remind them what was supposed to come out, and the food itself was subpar. It was 40 minutes for the starter. We only had a starter and main but were there for almost 2 hours and we didn't eat all the food. Specifically, the beef tasted wrong, like it had gone bad or something. I won't be going back.

Did not think the festive menu was value for money. Ate here recently and the standard menu and food was very good and value for money.

Food was shocking ! Ordered a lasagne and the brisket was minced and was white ! Did not taste like beef either. The manager was amazing and replaced my food with fish and chips , however unfortunately the fish didn’t looked like it was cooked well, was soggy and chips not fully cooked. I couldn’t really eat it and didn’t want to complain again. A three course set menu was ordered and when we asked to replace the double cream for a scoop of ice cream with the Bailey’s cheesecake we were told no because it would affect their stock levels. So disappointing. Although the food was bad the manager was amazing and very professional, however we will unlikely return.

The service was excellent. The pub was a little chilly. Had a toasted sandwich which I felt had been deep fried rather than toasted and was a little greasy. The portion size was generous.

A very enjoyable lunch. Excellent food and good service. Will come again and recommend the Boot to friends and family.

My wife and I both had the roast beef, it was hot, tasty with generous portions. The service isn't instant but I'm guessing that a lot of the food is cooked to order and it shows in the quality. I will go back again as the food was very good without being pretentious. Well Don to the Boot Inn
