   The food was delicious service was poor, lacked any enthusiasm and failed to orientate us to the menu. In the context of variable portion sizes this made the experience a bit muddled. Interpret the menu as small sharing plates and disregard the menus separation of canapes and platters. For insight: canapes- salmon tartar was unshareably small single canape, prawn toast 3 substantial pieces of chunky prawn toast. Platters: mushroom platter was the size of a side order/ desert bowl Go, the food is great but assume that everything on the menu is a small/ v small plate and order a minimum of 3 plates per course for an averagely hungry person. Hope for a better steer from your server. Service did not sparkle.

   Great roast compared to other London pub’s efforts. Veggie option comes with separate veg etc (without beef dripping.)

   One of the best places I’ve eaten in London (and I eat out a lot)! Outstanding food, seriously impressive, and superb service. Really friendly, knowledgeable staff and didn’t feel rushed at all. Was able to have a super relaxed evening with friends. Thank you to all staff for making it such a good experience. Will be back as soon as possible although expect it will become harder and harder to book as word gets out. Fabulous.

   The food was great but for that price I would’ve liked slightly bigger portions. Staff seemed disinterested and we had to ask for a wine list. Everything seemed like an effort. It seems to be caught between a gastro-pub and a restaurant. Me and my girlfriend shared the food but easily could’ve finished the lot individually.

   We were so excited to try it as we loved 12:51 and it was so worth it! Really yummy food that’s well priced and a really cool venue. Will be going back!

   Sadly, it’s just not quite good enough for the price. The food is presented as if it’s top notch, the menu and the servers act like they’re delivering Michelin-starred food, but it’s really pretty average and the portions are truly tiny. The cheese donuts aren’t cheesy, the beef is a little bland and watery etc. Not half as good, nor as good value as the Smokehouse down the road.

   Service was really great and the pub has a good vibe. Unfortunately two thin slivers of beef that were quite fatty was definitely not worth £35. The beef was cold and the gravy was literally like water with not much flavour. The sides were yummy though although definitely could do with a few more potatoes. We also had the caramel tart and that was incredible

    Very disappointed. I didn’t expect another 12.51 but from that to this! What has happened? The food was bland and expensive. The gnocchi dish literally had THREE gnocchi! The staff were many but awful. They seemed completely untrained and clueless. The menu is limited. I was surprised at the lack of taste as I expected the spicy Caribbean touch, of which the spare ribs etc. had none. Bland, bland and more bland! Nothing redeemed this restaurant. It disappoints in every way. Such a shame after the delicious 12.51.
