Our experience at The Brown Swan was excellent! It's beautiful. The service was excellent and staff was extremely friendly and personable. And the food was amazing! This is definitely a place we will recommend to others and we will definitely be returning .

Dinner on NYE was a buffet that offered a wonderful variety across several stations, including one for the children. There were choices for every palate, and the food was delicious. The winter margarita was tasty, and the service was excellent.

We enjoyed a Christmas Eve dinner at the Brown Swan. The outdoor area around the lodges was beautifully decorated, as well as inside of the restaurant. The service was great and the food was outstanding! Very reasonable prices! Highly recommend!

We went for the prime rib special. Both parties that got prime rib, the meat was way under cooked. My brother got the pork dish and that was also not done. He had to send it back. The waiter was exceptional and did everything he could under the circumstances.

Nice mountain resort feel to the restaurant. Service was good and professional. Food was excellent. Pricing a little high, but nice serving sizes to make up for it.

We dined twice at the Brown Swan during our short stay at Schroon Lake and everything was wonderful! The manager was extremely helpful and professional and made rounds to make sure guests were satisfied with the food and service. The entire staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. This made it a perfect dining experience for us! I would definitely recommend the Brown Swan to anyone looking for a wonderful meal and quality service. We will be coming back!

Service was very good. Chili inedible and Schnitzel nothing special. Fireplace should be in the dining room not the lounge. Not worth the money. Priced for the guests not the locals who support they need off-season.

The Brown Swan was very quiet on our arrival for dinner at 600pm. We were seated promptly. The drinks we ordered from the menu were unavailable. But, the manager came out and apologized for the delay and bought us a drink of our choosing for free. My wife loved the trout and I had the Schnitzel. Both were very good and flavorful. Overall, it was an above average experience!!
