The Bucks Arms is a traditional 17th century pub and former coaching Inn located next to the Blickling Estate. Serving many real ales and great food, we are also dog-friendly with a large garden.

Situated just a mile outside the town of Aylsham The Bucks offers a traditional English pub feel, with picturesque surroundings and plenty of history - while being within easy reach of other amenities and attractions.

Excellent Food - With our team of chefs running the kitchen, you can expect delicious home-cooked food beautifully presented and packed with flavour.

Quality Drinks - We are proud to be a Cask Marque recognised pub and have a great selection of real ales including at least 2 seasonal guest beers.

Wines are served by the glass or the bottle from an exciting and changing wine list.

Amazing food and generous portions. Lovely ambience and very attentive staff. Can’t wait to return - the vegetarian nut roast was the best I have had. My husband enjoy his sea bass with green curry. Desserts were all delicious.

Great food, full to the brim when leaving, wine was good too. Only thing was not having the mains cutlery on the table before mains were served. But we weren’t waiting long for it. One of my favourite norfolk pubs.

Overall very good but noticed prices have increased significantly especially alcohol. 1 large glass of white wine was £11! One would pay this at a restaurant BUT this is a pub. Price of alcohol was too expensive! Will eat here less often due to being now rather too expensive AND the bill gave an option to leave a tip 10/15/20%. Food excellent though and service very good.

The service was very efficient and friendly. The Sunday lunch was generous and well cooked. But my veggie roast wasn’t the best ever. Fewer grated parsnips and more nuts would have been nicer. It was a nice Sunday lunch. We had to eat in the bar as the dining room was full- not ideal as we don’t like eating near dogs. There was one with the next table which was allowed to sprawl across the floor very close to me. If dogs must be allowed, then owners must be asked to keep them under their table.

A great place to have dinner. Lovely environment in the restaurant. Starters were fabulous & HUGE! By the time our main courses came we just knew we would be beaten! Service was excellent & food very good. We will return 😋

Yes it was noisy, but obviously due to a Christmas Lunch for a walking party. That aside usually not so loud!

Such excellent service and great food - They had a power cut due to the electricity cables been brought down from storm Bert but the management and the staff carried on regardless as best they could 10 out of 10 for service

A party of seven celebrating a birthday on Sunday lunchtime. A welcoming face greeted us as we are returning guests. Everyone chose from the roast menu,3 lamb shanks and four pork meals. All the food was fantastic and our friends cannot wait to return when they next visit. Even a power cut could not detract from a great lunch. Book a table you will not be disappointed
