An old English pub, with a traditional European take on service. Well dressed wait staff, an attentive manager, a touch of formality and an amazing desert trolley to finish of a good meal. The food was good, but the service was the star. Other guests were mostly locals, families and many older couples. Quiet and homely. It’s worth the short drive out of Marlow central.

It is the cooked food that is usually so good at The Bull. None of this battered stuff around at restaurants these days. A good varity of vegetables that come with the main meal not extra. This time the trout was just overcooked, not usually. The decor is rather tired but they have new upholstery. It does attract older people, probably it is the price and the young may go for different new foods. Over all an enjoyable lunch, of course the company was good!

Very traditional menu from a few decades ago including a traditional desert trolley. The style and focus is on the older generation. That said, we all thought the food was good and service was friendly and efficient. The dinning room was not open on a Saturday lunch time. We were packed quite tightly in the pub area. Overall we enjoyed our time there.

This pub serves truly super traditional food which is well presented and all with a smile. There’s even a sweet trolley. Fabulous treat.

We ate in the restaurant not the bar. Fabulous evening with friends. Food always enjoyable, service even better. Second time we have been in a month. Love it. Old fashioned service and food choices, quirky but perfect for us.

We enjoyed our meal very much. The waiters were attentive. If any fault it was that the soup was too hot to eat and we had to wait while it cooled arc before the next course. We had drinks and main course. They were delicious. A well cooked meal. Nothing fancy just wholesome.

Very enjoyable evening, friendly and warm welcome on arrival, plenty of choice on the menu, very attentive service, food was excellent, portions were a little big but delicious non the less. Thank you to everyone who looked after us, will definitely be coming back, Best wishes, Geoff and Rosie,

I have dined here many times over the years and have never had a bad. Meal. Great food and great service. I even had an office Christmas Party here and the service was just as great !! Well done as always, I will be back !!!
