   Fabulous Sunday Roast & service our only problem was our table was right next to the door to the outside garden which was constantly being open With people going out for a cigarette, in future I’ll Book by calling & not using this apt as it doesn’t give you the option of where you would like your table ( if possible not by the back door ).

   Lovely roast. 8 eating and we all got our food at the same time. Best Sunday roast I have had in a long time.

   Pleasant surprise, found the best Sunday roast dinner we have had in ages. Can't recommend enough. Lovely old pub, superb atmosphere and fantastic service.

   Excellent Sunday roast and really attentive service. We had the beef and the pork and both were sensational. Dog friendly too so definitely an added bonus for us!

   I feel they were short staffed today or just very busy. The order took a long time to arrive and it was not hot. Couldn't wait any longer so didn't ask for it to be reheated. I had high expectations having been recommended to book but my male guests were disappointed at the amount of food on their plate and helped themselves to what I was leaving as I have a small appetite. On today's standards I will not be rebooking but I'm hoping it was just an off day for them. I want all pubs and restaurants to survive in these difficult times and don't like to leave a negative review. Every restaurant has these more challenging days.

   Food was tasty. We had Pork Belly, it was on special, and Venison Burger. The pork belly portion was small so not great value for money. Happy with my venison burger. Service was good, friendly, and the food did not take too long to come out which was great.

   A delicious Sunday Roast, in a vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere. Will absolutely come back and recommend this to our friends. We both had the miso aubergine with all the trimmings!! Lovely service, and lots of cute dogs.

   Couldn’t be happier, we took a couple that have eaten in some seriously nice restaurants and they were very impressed. We had a roasts and we couldn’t fault them. The staff were fantastic, friendly & attentive. Thank you we will see you again
