   Food was delicious but service was slow. I appreciate it was busy on a Sunday but we were served our mains, no one came to check on us and our table wasn’t cleared until after an hour we went to the bar to ask for the dessert menu. Even then we waited another 15 minutes to again have to go to the bar to order. By this time it was quiet in the bar area. Shame as I would have gone back for the food but not the service!

   Really lovely country inn and we were made very welcome. Very quiet restaurant- dry January! Food nice, ambience friendly, overall a really good experience

   Served with drinks quickly but waited for food for ages ! Portions were allot smaller than I expected certainly for the price we paid. Roast potatoes were difficult to cut in to and the beans were rock hard almost raw! My wife' s steak was small and loads of sinew which spoilt her meal. Overpriced food for the size of the portions. Be prepared to wait for a very long time during busy periods. Would not recommend.

   Beautiful place to have a sunday lunch, lovely tasty food 5* fantastic staff only issue i would say is it was very cold when we arrived and kept our coats on until our lunch come out to eat.

    Food was very good for New Year but experience was shambolic - rushed through with no drink orders taken until after starters, no fizz 'on arrival' until after starters and then asked to move at 10 to set up for breakfast. There was no space to sit anywhere else so we went home. Had this not been advertised as a New Year experience I think we would've been happy that the food was nice. Will avoid for New Year in future.
