Our waiter was phenomenal. The Empanada Trio our appetizer was packed with flavor. We ordered The Argentine Parrillada Experience For Two. Definitely more than enough food for 2 people. Drinks were very good (and strong). We order the Black & Bull(Eit) and Argentine Old Fashioned. Atmosphere was amazing, set just right for our weekly date night. Our waiter suggested the bread pudding for dessert, which was by far the best bread pudding we have tasted in a long time. Thank you, butcher and barrel team for an amazing experience!

So impressed with both food and service. Thank you to server Jennifer, for making my birthday dinner so special. We were especially impressed with the cocktails, the fried deviled egg appetizer, the bread pudding, and of course the steaks. This place is a gem.

Our waitress Jennifer made the experience along with the exquisite food & flavors. This was our first time at the butcher and barrel. It was great. We even sent pictures of the food back to our foodie son and his wife which are great cooks themselves. We will come back and look forward to it.

Our service was amazing, and all the food beverages were spot on! The biggest draw back not able to have a low top table, seats seemed to slant forward. Also with the weather the interior door would prop open causing cold air to come straight to our area. While they would try to close door, next group of ppl coming in caused it to prop open again.

There were 3 of us. Two ordered salmon and one ordered short rib. The salmon was excellent. They both loved it. The short rib was good but I couldn’t finish the knochhi. I forgot I’m not a great lover of knochhi. Not the restaurants fault. The Brussels sprout side dish was also very good as was the bread. The bread pudding was very good though a bit small. The service was excellent. Attentive but not too much. Great experience overall. We will return.

From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The appetizers were absolutely delicious—we especially loved the deviled eggs and the empanada trio. The Caesar salad was amazing, packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. I had the salmon for dinner and it was amazing. We were extremely satisfied with both the food and service. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was welcoming and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back again! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great dining experience in Cincinnati.
