   Not a steakhouse and shows photos of dry aged tomahawks in a meat fridge that are not on the menu for butchers bar - we did not try Aloha so maybe that would have worked for us - but if you are looking for a steakhouse this butchers bar felt misrepresented

   Excellent Drinks, Food and Service + validated parking at Hyatt Centric. You definitely need to try the fried burrata with sourdough bread & the Bone Marrow Burger! Worth making the drive to Waikiki.

   We usually go to the same steak houses in Waikiki such as Ruth’s Chris or similar as we are yearly visitors from LA. We tried Butcher Bar first time and were so impressed. It is owned by Aloha restaurant which is right next door. We chose Butcher due to the menu and the idea of set menu - the Dusk Menu for $60. Includes filet or ribeye, veggies, mashed potatoes, choice of salad and ice cream. Quality steaks. We also ordered the meatloaf which was also delicious. Service top notch. Isaac was friendly, gave good recommendations, attentive. We used open table and mentioned my nieces birthday. But icecream came with meal So we did not need more. Isaac surprised us with a delicious brownie cake and Happy Birthday written in chocolate. It was Such a nice touch. We will Definitely return. The place is small, casual with quality food and mid priced. Highly Recommend.

   Great vibe in this place, music and service make you feel very relaxed for a steakhouse. Steak was excellent as was the wedge salad and cocktails, keep it classic with an old fashioned which was great. Came here by myself and had a good time. Will be back next time I’m in Honolulu.

   We wanted to make a reservation at the Aloha Steak House but somehow got this place instead. It is a more casual version of the steak house with a slightly smaller menu but we were still able to get a delicious steak and a nice bottle of wine! The staff was very friendly and super helpful!

   Overall it was fine, but from the start we didn’t know where to check in so just awkwardly sat at the bar waiting for someone. We had a reservation and another couple came in after us, but they got their orders in before us. Just lots of waiting around to get checked in, to get our orders in, to get the next course. Food was good, we did the restaurant week. Watermelon salad was 3 pieces of watermelon with some greens and sauces around. Steak was good but I couldn’t tell the difference between aged and non aged steaks.

   Went to Butcher Bar during restaurant week and had an awesome dry-aged steak meal for $60. The service was outstanding! We never had to look for anyone to help us. Love this spot and the Happy Hour is on point also! Try the Apricot Sour… Highly recommended!
