   Overall poor experience. To start, we were allowed to make a reservation for 9:45pm. When we were sat, we were informed that the kitchen would be closing at 10:00pm and to “order quick”. We were told about the Valentines menu which we would have done if we had not read into it further. The entrees were an extra $15-20. This is on top of the already $75 that you are to pay per person. We got the risotto and the seafood spaghetti from the all day menu for $80. When it came time to pay the bill, we were told that there is an extra 3% charge to use a credit card, but this “fee” is waived if you pay with a debit card. Lastly, the overall atmosphere is very loud and you are squished like sardines when it comes to seating. This was our first time here and we will not be back.

   We very much enjoyed our visit to The Cage. We had the korean tacos, short rib, shrimp risotto, and amaretto parfait. All were excellent and we appreciated a separate gluten free menu! The kitchen was fast despite the crowd and our server was attentive and kind. We did not have speciality drinks, but the wine was perfect. Our bill was about $75 pp with 1 glass of wine each. The noise level was energetic. We sat across from the cage. We have already recommended this restaurant to a number of friends.

   Wow outstanding everything was just so good I didn’t think I’ll even like the food but I did it was so good that I was full couldn’t even eat it all this place is awesome.

   This has quickly become one of my favorite places. The food is delightful. The staff is amazing. The atmosphere is greatly unique. For an intimate dining experience of two to a larger group of friends out for some drinks and dinner The Cage offers it all. The main dining area includes booths, high tops, the bar, and a caged table for a bigger party that seems to sit 8-10 people. The main area is decorated in what I would say is the Garden of the Hesperides meets Wonderland. There is a separate dining room as well that is tucked away from the noise that has a beautiful fireplace and a large crafted canoe suspended from the ceiling. The drink menu plays off Greek mythology and the food menu offers a variety of dishes to suit even the most picky eaters pallet.

   It was fun from the start. The decor is very interesting. Everyone is very friendly and caring that you have a great experience. We chose the prix fix menu for Valentine's Day. Our drinks and all the food was spectacular. Many flavors and artfully presented. We would definitely return.

    I was shocked that we were taken to a bar height table ! In the past at other restaurants they will ask if you are okay with higher tables in the bar area . It was when the restaurant first opened and there were plenty of tables. That is precisely why I make reservations to get a preferred table.
