I SO badly wanted this to be good. The space is pretty & relaxing. Our server was very nice but not attentive. Food took over 45 minutes to come out… which I suspect is the reason the rest of the meal went downhill. Soup was cold as it came out with my main course and was obviously sitting a while. Sandwich was also cold and had to go back (cold béchamel sauce is not appealing). They took it back and offered to remake it. By the time a new sandwich came out my entire table had finished their meal. We didn’t bother to mention the cold fries two of us had. It was apparent the food was up a while and not brought out. The croque madame and the shrimp po’boy were both middle of the road. The pasta dish was very good. We shared a slice of the cake and a truffle. Both were outstanding. This may just be a place to get a treat from the bakery. I may try it one more time but I’m not running back any time soon. After all the hype, then the pricing controversy over this place, I thought they would be running their A game. They are not quite there yet.

Wonderful atmosphere, good food that could have been just a bit hotter. Service was good, our server was excellent. Food delivery was a bit slow. Will certainly go back again.

The food was delicious. As a Louisianan I was a bit skeptical of the shrimp poboy and shrimp Remoulade and both tasted like home!! Our server Camille was excellent and we had a fabulous time.

Cake Bake was absolutely incredible!!! We went for the cake, but the food was fantastic!! The cakes were amazing!!! We got multiple flavors and shared. I have no idea how to pick a favorite. We loved all of them!! Our server, Sarah, was spectacular!!! We went on Thanksgiving. We will definitely return.

Excellent food, more on casual elegant side. I had tbe shrimp po boy with gumbo, my wife had crab cakes and their version of Mac and cheese. Great cocktails, good service. Pricey but it’s Disney so… all in all I would go back .

Gumbo was beyond the best tasting with layers to it. Raspberry champagne cake was light and refreshing. Petunia punch had glitter and guava in it. So unique and yummy. Broccoli quiche was a cloud of goodness. I'll definitely look forward to coming back again. Loved the service and ambience.

We had an incredible first experience at The Cake Bake Shop on Disney’s Boardwalk, and wow, it was nothing short of magical! Right from the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by Skyler and George, which set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Our fabulous waitress, Jennifer, truly made the night special! She guided us through the menu, highlighting her favorite dishes and sharing some exciting changes coming soon. We kicked things off with the truffle fries, which were absolutely divine! For my main course, I indulged in the shrimp Po'boy, savoring every single bite. Jennifer thoughtfully chose the Croque Monsieur for me, and it was so delicious I could seriously eat it every day! Of course, we saved room for dessert and couldn’t resist trying the seasonal option—it was the perfect finish to our feast. To top it all off, we had the pleasure of meeting the amazing owner, Gwen. She was just as wonderful as the food! We’re already looking forward to our next visit for breakfast and tea. What an unforgettable night!
