The Camellia Tea room at Milner Gardens & Woodland is CLOSED until February 2023, and is not taking any reservations for Afternoon High Tea at this time.

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BOOKING:
Bookings are for Full Afternoon High Tea service ONLY. You DO NOT need to make a reservation if you wish to come in for our selection of house-made soups, scones, desserts and refreshments.
Full Afternoon High Tea service is a pre-set platter of fine desserts and savory items and two refreshments for two guests each.
All guests are still permitted to pay admission to the gardens upon entry, even with a High Tea Reservation (unless you hold a current Milner Gardens Membership or VIU Student card, Milner Gardens Guest Pass.)

The Camellia Tea Room will be open Friday's and Saturday's through February and March from 12pm - 3pm and is located in the drawing room of the historic Milner House.

Lovely setting for high tea! The food was excellent! When you first see the three-tiered tray, you might think that there isn’t a lot of food, but there is, and you fill up quickly! The tea, food, setting, and service was wonderful for our 5th anniversary! Would recommend the tea room as well as the gardens for locals OR tourists as a lovely afternoon outing.

Wonderful experience at the tea room. lovely spot to refresh your spirit, mentally and physically, from the club car ride to the spectacular gardens. Definitely more, than what we expected.

Everything on offer for high tea was excellent. The warn scones with jam and Devon cream were a great starter. And the finger sandwiches were varied (egg, cucumber, curried chicken, and salmon) and tasty, but I wish there had been a few more. The chocolate covered strawberry was my favourite of the sweets. And what a glorious setting for tea on a sunny day.

Milner gardens has been one of my favorite places to go to when I visit the island. They have a most delicious high tea spread and the view is unbeatable!

A high school friend and I go to “HighTea” at Milner Gardens whenever she comes to the Island. We always enjoy ourselves. The view is great, the ambiance lovely and the dainties delectable. Ladies, you can even dress up a bit. I would highly recommend it.

This is a little hidden gem,I absolutely enjoyed my afternoon tea.The view from the patio was beautiful,the service was great & the tea sandwiches & cakes were such a treat.I will definitely be returning again.We also walked through the trails & gardens which are so well kept😊

My daughter was visiting for the weekend from Edmonton and this was her first time at Milner Gardens. I wanted to make it a special afternoon and booked the High Tea. It didn't disappoint! The service was friendly and attentive. We each had our own pot of tea and three tiers of delicious savoury and sweet treats as well as scones with preserve and cream. We sat on the verand,a as the weather was glorious, with views over the lawns and the Strait of Georgia beyond - bliss!! This was an afternoon to remember and I will certainly bring family and friends to enjoy the experience in the future.
