Come join us and the West Coast Fish Shop for a delicious Christmas 5 course seafood dinner at The Canteen! We will have live oyster chucking by the Head Fishmonger at West Coast Fish Shop and champagne on arrival. We have two different ticket types to choose from: Standard ticket: Includes oysters and champagne on arrival, a canape, starter, main and dessert. Premium ticket: Includes oysters and champagne on arrival, a canape, starter, a main to include lobster and dessert. We have a wine package available for an additonal £70, to enjoy 5 carefully selected wines that pair with each dish.

Fabulous food - delicious duck, chicken, steak and other dishes. Think we over ordered as had about 9 dishes between the 2 us - we didn’t need the chips! Waitress was lovely and it was her first day on the job, so very impressed with that.

Second time at the canteen and this time for a special birthday celebration. We all loved the food, it was excellent- we tried the entire menu and Victoria had baked a fantastic chocolate cake which we had preordered for the birthday girl. Has a warm feeling of a neighbourhood restaurant and authenticity as its British with a twist. We all want to go back.

We were a party of 4 and given the sharing nature of the menu we decided to have all starters and share mains. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was also great with nice music and friendly staff. Definitely worth going and we will all be going back soon.

Had a lovely meal here, the food is really good and pricing is reasonable for the quality. One of the best restaurants in the neighbourhood. Everything we eat was delicious with special mention to the arancini. The duck main was extremely popular. The steak was perfectly cooked, my husband is exacting when it comes to steaks and he loved it.

The food and environment was excellent, we had a really warm welcome from the owner, would definitely go back again!
