   Delicious meal yet again! Tried the falafel bowl and the flavours and textures were outstanding. Will definitely have it again. It was noisy with a full lunch crowd all happily chattering.

   Another fabulous evening at The Canteen. Our server Megan was so sweet, efficient and accommodating. The service is always seamless and the food scrumptious. The menu always has new items while retaining favourites. Great tunes in the background as well. It was a lively, upbeat atmosphere as always and we cannot wait to go back. ❤️

   This was my first visit. The service levels are amazing but the food was meh, especially for the price paid. I was looking forward to the seafood chowder because I read great things. The bowl was a decent size and had a fair amount of seafood but it was warm-ish, not hot and the broth was very runny. It's not your traditional hearty NS chowder. It came with a very small biscuit which I could have eaten in two bites. I was disappointed. I was still hungry after eating. I had the pavlova for dessert which was light and tasty with whipped cream and fruit. Yummy.

   We were there for a Birthday, 1st table was in a noisy spot, they were so nice and reseated us in our own room. The server was one of the best I have ever had at a restaurant

   Our server , Liz was absolutely incredible !! Best service we’ve had in years! We love the Canteen and can always count on the food. Only one suggestion — we love the booth nooks as they have cushions which support the lower back . These booths were full so we wish to have cushions available when sitting on ithe chairs or optional or new comfy chairs for those of us who are older or with disc issues. Thank you .
