   The staff at Capital Grille, led by our server Leo, saved the night after we walked out on another fine dining restaurant that had treated us dismissively. We showed up with no reservations at 8pm on a Saturday and the staff rushed to find us a seat, treating us like we mattered. We ate, we drank, we laughed, and we tipped them well for their effort. In all, they turned an awful night into a fantastic evening. Ps. It was my wife’s birthday and we made it a point to not tell any of the establishments because neither of us enjoy that kind of attention.

   I want to say that our server Demetrius was GREAT! 10/10 very accommodating and nice.. BUT the 2 greeters were horrible and not sure what what was going on.. prior to coming I looked online and saw they had SEVERAL reservations available so many that I assumed I didn’t need to make one I walked in and was told they weren’t accepting anymore walk ins OR reservations I said it’s so many online l.. they also told another black behind me the same thing, I went to meet my husband in the car went online made a reservation for 15 min later walked back in and they both had stupid looks on there face the same table I asked if we could sit at previously and was told no is where they sat us… nonetheless a Caucasian guy came in a few minutes later he approached my table and started a conversation with my husband laughing and joking.. I said to my husband I’m going to ask him if he had a reservation, which I did and he said NO I did not I just walked in… I told him what happened to us he apologized that we had to go thru that and offered to buy us a glass of wine.. we declined and finished our night, needless to say I’m not sure what this was about if it was racism or just poorly trained workers why would we a young black couple need reservations but an older white couple not need them?

   The sea bass was delicious. The time to be greeted by servers once seated at table was quite long, but, she explained their computers were malfunctioning causing delays. Totally understandable and the servers did great service recovery and turned our experience around into a quite enjoyable evening.

   This restaurant consistently delivers an outstanding experience. It was my first visit to this location, and it has quickly become my favorite. It’s now my go-to spot for celebrating special occasions!

   Our waiter Mike was fantastic. We were celebrating a friend‘s birthday and he made her feel extra special with her birthday drink along with a special birthday treat after lunch. We enjoyed the lobster bite appetizer, the lobster salad, the salmon, mango tomato salad, and the filet mignon mini sandwiches. Everything was great.

    Our experience was amazing from start to finish. The customer service from the hostesses and our server, Leo, was top tier. Of course, the food was delectable and very appeasing to the palate.
