Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. We went for the Wagu and wine special and the burgers were delicious and the Duckhorn wines were superb. The service was not up to par due to our server having to handle the entire bar area on a busy time of day.

Our dinner was amazing! Alexandra S. was our server and she was awesome. There was never a time that we were waiting for anything. The food was phenomenal. We had a night away from the little ones and she made it special for us. We will be back!

2nd time at Newtown - filet tough and no shoestring fries - not good. Shoestring fries are classic capital grille trademark. Chef informs they no longer offer. Ruined my entire meal with fat dirty potato fries. Soggy. Greasy. Luke warm. I literally want to burn my tongue on a hot crispy fry. No point in going back. My cheat meal has to be the bomb. At least Kyle our waiter was interesting to chat with and had good restaurant training.

The Capital Grille is one of our favorite restaurants so when we found out that one was opening so close to our home, we were really excited! The new Newtown location is beautiful, especially the bar area. Food and the service was exceptional as usual. Will be back sooner than later to dine again!

My family and I were back for another birthday celebration. We requested a table with Kate, as we had absolutely superior service with her in January. She acknowledged us immediately and remembered so many details from our previous visit. She is a STAR! EVERYTHING was OUTSTANDING! Kate and Capital Grille lived up to our expectations. Another wonderful evening. Thank you, Kate & CG!

This was our first time at this capital grill. It was wonderful. Because of my delay in getting a reservation we had to sit in the bar area. It was still a very nice spot and the combination of Service and food made it a great date night. We most certainly will return here in the future. I would also recommend asking for Guillermo to wait on you. He wwa outstanding.
