   I had one of the best steak Cobb salad ever! Great combination of lettuces, delicious dressing and steak cooked to perfection.

   The balsamic glaze steak may have been the best steak I’ve ever had. I did it on a filet mignon instead of the ribeye though too!!

   We had dinner at the new Capital Grille location. Massi was our waiter and was very attentive. The food was excellent, as always. The new location feels less intimate and more the Grand Central Station where it's located. If you can get past the busy-ness, ask for Massi. Reliable stake house with decent wine list.

   The Capital Grille is amazing. I prefer the Wall St location only because it’s not as busy. The food is delicious and consistent.

   While the service and food were wonderful, we were disappointed with how we were treated upon arrival. Our party of eight had three members delayed due to traffic—one was just around the corner, another nearby, and the third arriving later. Despite this, we were told we couldn’t be seated until everyone arrived, with the added mention that we’d be rushed through our meal due to the next seating. At a restaurant of your caliber, we expected a more accommodating approach, such as seating the present members of our party to begin enjoying the experience. Unfortunately, this left us feeling unwelcome and diminished the overall experience. Having dined at establishments across Europe, we’ve seen how flexible and hospitable restaurants can be in similar situations, which contrasts with our experience here. While we appreciated the quality of the service and food, this initial treatment has given us pause about returning.

Born & raised in Boston -attended Boston University in the shadows of the flagship Capital Grille in Boston - When Rockefeller recruited /transferred me to Manhattan I discovered Managing Partner Bill Butler -locations on 42nd street , Rock Center & Wall Street. My clients love Executive Chef Partner Alex Garcia! His signature beef choices & sides are favorites!! GM Jill is fashionably dressed in a knockout red leather dress. Diningroom Mgr Laura is the “hostess with the mostest”!! Our waiter Luis was well versed in menu choices to complement our tastes! Bennett mixes a grey goose perfectly chilled!! We began with Seafood soup &.Jumbo shrimp cocktail. Perfectly prepared filet minion & a new seafood creation: 5 tender scallops over a risotto with lobster chunks perfectly cooked al dente!! And cheesecake with a gorgeous fruit medley to WOW the most discerning for dessert. The “Street talk”:. All midtown competition salivate for the “standing room only” customers in the lounge and without a reservation no availability in the diningroom!!     Our server, Sarah, was absolutely fantastic. Incredibly welcoming, helpful, friendly and accommodating. She ensured that we had an excellent dining experience.
