   Went there for the first time to experience the hype that we’ve heard. Was really impressed with the welcome and ambience. Valet parking is top notch and efficient. As for the food, I was disappointed with the variety of appetizers. There is very limited choices if you do not eat seafood (I thought this was more of a steakhouse), there salad is too tangy and made with leaf stems only. The complimentary bead mix was very delicious. The service is what was the most disappointing. The waiter kept disappearing for extended periods asked for more drinks and bread and he can back after 15 mins without them and had to remind him. The steaks are ok. I’ve had better selections elsewhere in the city. We got the NY Strip and Bone in Rib eye. The anime in Rib Eye is supposed to be there best seller with 15 year aged balsamic but I feel like the balsamic taste overpowers the steak and you don’t quite get to enjoy the steak flavor. Overall to me the food is average at best and service was extremely awful.

   We had fabulous service from the moment we walked in, from the hostesses to the bartenders (Eric) to the wait staff (Travis & Kristen) to even the manager. Delightful food, drinks and entire evening.

   Our server, Quentin was fabulous. New York quality of service and professionalism with a little bit of Oklahoma fun and interaction. He made our experience the best. His knowledge of every menu item was impressive. The food quality was wonderful as was the taste and temperature. Our cocktails were made to perfection by Nick the bartender, a professional mixologist with a great personality. My girlfriend is very picky about her Cosmopolitans and Nick knocked it out of the park. I can’t be happier that Capital Grill is now open in Oklahoma City and thriving, it was packed but never felt crowded. Perfect experience.

   This was my first visit to Capital Grille. I’ll share my good first and then a recommendation. Three met for a business lunch. The service was excellent and friendly - they exceeded our expectations. The food was very good - generous portions on their entree salads and beautiful presentation. I was very impressed overall. It was pricey but not out of line with other nice restaurants. The recommendation. I booked a reservation for 11:30 as did a few others. They left us in our cars in the valet line or outside at the locked door precisely until 11:30 when the restaurant opened. A line of cars formed. My business associates self-parked and stood in the cold until the door was unlocked. I was told this was common protocol. Either you open the door and have people wait inside to be seated that arrive as early as 11:15 for an 11:30 reservation or you don’t take reservations until 11:45. Pretty simple. Don’t leave your clients in the cold!
