Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. This restaurant had its share of hits and misses. Unfortunately, most of the misses were the food. Valet Parking- HIT....Quick, Attentive, polite. An excellent start to the evening Service- HIT...Our server was spot on all night. She was there just enough to check on us, but not enough to be annoying. Food- BIG MISS... My wife and I started with soup.My Lobster Bisque was bland at best. There didn't seem to be any attempt at seasoning. Maybe this was by design, but at least serve it hot. It was tepid, but just barely. My wife's onion soup had the same 2 issues, bland and tepid. I've had hundreds of French onion soups and they always come out raging hot... not this one. Next came our steaks. My Gorganzola crusted NY strip was cooked to the correct level, but then it must have sat out for a while. When it arrived it was barely warn and the meat tasted mealy. I think I had 3 bites. My wife ordered the filet, medium rare. It came out mostly rare, but again...warm at best. Her steak did taste much better than mine if you could get around the temperature of the meat. The lobster mac and cheese had definitely been sitting out for a while because it was mostly cold. The only dish, out of 5, that was remotely hot, were the Au Gratin potatoes. So, for whopping $225, the food was tremendously disappointing Birthday service- BIG HIT.... they went above and beyond for my wife's birthday: a little sampler dessert, Champagne, a picture that they took AND framed and a nice placard. WELL DONE. As memorable as the birthday part of the evening was. I most likely would not return because, it's the food that brings you back.

I loved the environment and the food was outstanding. Great service, and the staff was superb.

Although arriving slightly past my reservation time the hostess was able to accommodate me in the non standard seating area (high top), my waitress Jordan was simply phenomenal amidst juggling various tables, each with multiple patrons… assistant servers were delightful as well. Food was superb, intricate use of reductions and spices for a divinely elevated yer balanced flavor.

Had an amazing experience from the service to the food and atmosphere was all top notch! They went over the top for a birthday celebration making it the best part of my day! Love the special touches for a birthday and will always strive to celebrate my birthday here and others also! Enjoyed the crab cakes, filet, spinach and crème brule! Can’t wait to go back!

David is a FANTASTIC server! Don’t sleep on the lobster risotto…you’ll have to ask for it!

The restaurant and staff are wonderful. We called to add a 5th person the day before and they accommodated us. The table was set up for 5 but we were a party of seniors so the booth would have been difficult. They moved us to another table that made seating much more comfortable. The food and service was excellent.

Wow oh wow what an amazing culinary and dining experience! David our server was phenomenal! He deserves a gold star for his attention to detail and on point recommendations! He was very attentive with his service for our birthday celebration which included a complimentary dessert and champagne for the table. There was even a birthday card and confetti on the table. David took a group photo and printed it for us and put it in a photo card as a memory for us. We had the most amazing experience and can’t wait to go back! Brian, a manager, stopped by our table as well and talked with us about the restaurant and area, and was very interactive. The best service and food we’ve had at a restaurant in Oklahoma thus far!

The poor service made this feel like an experience at a chain restaurant. One of our meals was not made and no apology was given. It was a bad experience.
