   For my 35th, my wife and I decided to celebrate at The Carbon Bar. Having heard a lot about their smoked meats, we opted for 'The Experience' and the seafood appetizer course. Let me tell you, it was a culinary adventure. The seafood was a fantastic opening act. Fresh, bright flavors, beautifully presented – a real testament to the kitchen's attention to detail. Then came 'The Experience'. The array of smoked meats… it was a feast. Tender, juicy, with that perfect smoky depth. You could tell they really knew their craft. I’ve studied business in the US, but I’ve always appreciated good food, and this was top-tier. Honestly, the portions were incredibly generous. We're not small eaters, but we had to admit defeat. We took home a significant amount of leftovers, which, I must say, were just as delicious the next day. It felt like an extended birthday celebration! The atmosphere at The Carbon Bar was lively, but not overwhelming. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure we had a great experience without being intrusive. Living in Toronto since 2012, I've come to appreciate good service, and they delivered. It was a memorable birthday dinner. The combination of excellent food, a vibrant atmosphere, and attentive service made for a truly enjoyable evening. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, or just want to indulge in some fantastic smoked meats, I highly recommend The Carbon Bar. Just be prepared to leave with a doggy bag!

   Brilliant experience. Way more food than we could eat (tasting menu), which honestly was a drawback…. Hated to waste all that deliciousness

   Great location and close to theatre. The service was excellent, quick and efficient. The food was really good starting with brisket sliders and the burnt ends (thought they would have been crispy though). The corn bread was very good as was the striploin. Can’t wait to return to try the pitmaster. Solid job Carbon team, looking forward to returning.

   Amazing Valentine's day dinner. We did their special set-menu which was amazing and so affordable (not like many other restaurants) and their regular menu was also available so we ordered even more food, honestly wasn't needed as we were stuffed but it was so good, no regrets!! Thanks for the amazing time Carbon Bar team, the wife loved it.

   The service was very good. My issue was the food. It was not bad, I just didn't like it. The beet salad was just a load of cooked beets on a plate with the odd green, pecan, and orange segment. It was really bland. My husband and I shared it and left three quarters of it uneaten. He loved the pork belly burnt ends but they had big chunks of fat which I did not like. My husband informed me that this is how they are supposed to be, so I guess it was just not my taste. I had the turkey burger and my husband had the beef brisket which we both thought was just okay. Great fries though! Will try another place before coming back here.

    We loved it there only complaint is seafood platter has an odd number for the items. I would have bern better is 6 of each item was given instead of five. (Especially when there is 2 ppl for the experience). However, it was a special night that we will never forget. Ambience was awesone. Food was fantasic. Service was first class.
