Great service and delicious food Cocktails were good too Toilets not suitable for anyone unable to manage lots of stairs so check for accessible loo if needed before you book.

Surprisingly we were the only people in there, on the busiest night of the year! Food came nice and quickly and was of reasonable quality. Value was pretty good.

So, first things first, the staff were kind, friendly and (mostly) professional. There endeth the positives. We arrived (Friday night in December, in the 2nd largest city in England) and there were 14 other people in the restaurant. 6 left quite soon after, seemingly happy. The restaurant was now, quite empty. Still we had booked, I'd bot seen my dining companion for too long and neither of us could face a search for another place. We sat down and ordered. At this point I think it i best described as slightly odd, faulty towers type experience. Would you like drinks? A cobra and an Americano". I'm sorry we don't have americano, but I can do a black coffee..or a white coffee. My companion asked for a black coffee. "Would you like milk or cream with that?". No, just black please. A pause, a few minutes later "we've sold out of cobra". that was a little hard to believe but I happily ordered a madri. Food we ordered a curry (with a basket of poppadoms) and a steak (Rare). After quizzing us about just how bloody we wanted the steak the waiter left and, a short while later, a basket of poppadoms arrived. Burnt. I didn't send them back as it felt quite appropriate. Anyway, we finished those and the mains came. We were immediately asked if we were enjoying it (less than a minute). After a few more minutes - the waiter asked how the steak was. How off putting he finds bloody food and couldn't eat that. So in effect he'd just said "how can you eat that food I just served you". Quite remarkable. The curry looked like a microwave meal. It wasn't. It was cooked ok. Put, for a pathia,, was more "raisin flavoured" than you would expect. No raisins noted in the food however. I then took a jaunt to the toilets. There were some way away, and the stairs felt "sticky' It was a shame really. The staff were nice and we really wanted to enjoy it. But in truth, as soon as we walked in, we should have left the lack of custom on one of the busiest nights of the year was the clue.

I am quite new to Birmingham and my English isn’t the best the waiter went the extra mile to translate for me to help me make up my mind what to eat. The food was amazing and full of flavour. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming and I will return soon.

Great food, staff were great we arrived and felt welcomed. Waiter recommended some dishes as we were stuck for choices. Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend it to anyone ☺️

Had a really lovely date night here recently. I’ve seen a few of their videos online and we had to go and try the most popular dish. The Seafood boil was absolutely amazing, so much flavour (big portion too). Highly recommended dish and place to go!! Lovely cosy place and service was top, can’t fault it.

I loved my experience here it was authentic Indian food full of flavoured delicious and well priced for starter - mixed grill. 10 out of 10. Main chicken tikka biryani so delicious. I would highly recommend this place ambience the team is so friendly the owner so lovely. I would definitely be going back again.
