   Excellent service & ambience. We enjoyed our appetizers - the buttermilk biscuits & hush puppies. Unfortunately all of us ordered fish & all of us were disappointed in our entrees. The mahi was overcooked & did not have much flavor. The fish & chips were also flavorless. We had high hopes, but were disappointed in our visit. Maybe non-fish options are the way to go?

   The food was fantastic and we are difficult to please. The short rib, the scallops, the brussel sprout side, and tuna dish were all a hit and so difficult. Amazing flavors, intriguing ingredient pairings. The staff were very accommodating.

   We had dinner here on Christmas Eve with our 5 year old and 5 month old. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Breckenridge.

   We have lived in Colorado for 20 years and I have never had as good a meal and service as we did at The Carlin. Braised Short ribs were amazing! Shrimp scampi delicious! I'll be going back as this is my new go-to for great dinner and Golden Hour!

   The Carlin was truly an all encompassing experience. Hospitality, quality and service are just a few things to list. Our waitress Amelia was such a light of joy while offering amazing recommendations. The food was hands down better than the Michelin Star restaurant I just tried in Denver. No cap. 10/10.

   Service was great. Brussel-sprouts appetizer (with duck confit and dehydrated bing cherries) was amazingly delicious. Jalapeno hush puppies appetizer were surprisingly good as well. The shrimp scampi (to which we added scallops) and the scallops special were both excellent. The servings were so large we had to bring all but the hush puppies (which don't reheat well anyway) home for leftovers! We also enjoyed the "Simpler Thyme" (zero-proof) drinks, to the point where we had five of them (sharing the fifth). If only we'd had room for dessert!
