   We have been going to the cherry tree for many years and the food and service has always been excellent. However on this occasion our initial server came across as rude, disinterested, and demonstrated a couldn’t be bothered attitude. Thankfully that server moved to another area and the server who who replaced her was pleasant and attentive.

   We really love the menu choices the food quality and the service in general . Our only issue is that the first order of drinks is too slow . Will always recommend the Cherry tree as an excellent venue and great menu choices and offers

   I have already responded privately to the Cherrytree although as yet there has been no response. Our lunch experience was not good and we were left very disappointed.

   Visited Cherry Tree on 11/10/24. The initial welcome was nice & friendly. Food was good. We were initially told me might have a wait for food because we weren't ordering starters. However arrived very quickly. My issue is that our waitress came to clear our table whilst I was still eating. My partner & son had both finished there meals, so maybe she hadn't noticed that I hadn't finished. However when I pointed out to her that she shouldn't really do this, she apologised but carried on. Our table had been booked & we had arrived prior to booking time. The food arrived quickly, so I couldn't really understand what the rush was about. It spoiled our experience, as we felt that we needed to leave our table. There were people in the restaurant who had arrived before us & they didn't seem to be being rushed out. Was disappointed that we were made to feel this way.

   As always the main meals were amazing, service was fabulous and the cocktails beautiful. Unfortunately the dessert was completely tasteless. We ordered the white chocolate and jaffa cheesecake and it didn't really taste of anything at all. We left most of it. I have ordered desserts here previously and had a similar experience so wouldn't be quick to order a dessert again! For the price, we were very very surprised.

   Lovely lunch with my daughter. The fish & chips were delicious & cooked to perfection. The service was fabulous. The decor & ambience lovely. Booked to go back again next week with a group of friends.
